i forgot to read the storage instructions for those med. and i placed it in fridge for about 5 hours (fridge temp 4 Celsius) before i took it out and store it in room temperature. will it spoil my med?? please advise. thanks

Most tablets are stable between 4 and 40 degrees.

I doubt you damaged them in anyway.

For the generic Kaletra (not the Truvada) some formulations require them to be kept in the fridge.

Hi Bro, so far the side effect i have is slight upset stomach.. that was when i take the med without food. best to take med together with food and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

i did not experience those side effects such as nausea, headache, insomnia, anxiety or etc.. i feel quite normal to be honest.

In Singapore original Truvada goes for about $900 to $1,000 for a bottle of 30 tablets.

Truvada can be taken daily to prevent a HIV infection. As you pointed out, it is very promoted in the gay men community. That is because most of the data on it's HIV protection ability is from studies on gay men.

That said, there is now more data to say that it also works for heterosexual men and women. It actually does not have to be taken daily. There is such a thing as "event-based PrEP" where you take the Truvada per event. This reduces the use of the pills to as low as 4 tablets of Truvada per event. Going by Singapore prices, it makes PrEP much more financially tolerable.

it seems like the malaria pills we take before going to tekong.

but to spend this kind of money for a short session of raw sex doesnt seem worth it. plus its not guaranteed you wont catch hiv.
