Hi Bro Vaxvms,

Wat other kind of own entertainment bro?? Mind enlighten me?? I have been 2 ShenZhen a few times & always stay in Fu Yong Zheng due 2 my supplier plant is at there. But i seems like cant find any entertainment at there thus i always go further down 2 other towns.

Hope u can share some valuable info wif me.

Any shenzhen bro care to give advice? only been to shenzhen 3-4 times and the last time was in april last year. Miss that place very much.

For info, expect 1 May and 4 May to have street protests. They should all disperse and go home for dinner around 6-7 p.m. Once I get SMS, will post. Meantime, the usual pre-holiday YanDa, but businesses still on - bit more discreet. Bck to normal AFTER the holidays. BTW, if the business dare to open, they will have lobang to protect them. The gers have to eat - golden opportunity for them. But still, better stay in a safer non-local hotel and da pau your night snack.

Protest ??? Against the Jap ???
Got to agreed that the protests over the last few weekends are quite "hot". The crowd seems "angry"...Many Japanese restaurants have to shut their business for the day. Some Jap restaurants near where i lived had even change their name...to be non Jap...One change it to "Da Chang Ji", the name of a Korean drama that's is running very popular in HK right now. Hee....hee...

But looking at the reports, these protests seem like coming to an end soon...The PRC government is trying very hard to cool the protests... They are afraid that it might get out of hands... Moreover, it was reported that the Japanese Prime minister Mr. Koizumi had made an unprecedented open apology to the Chinese people. I think the Chinese would cool down. The stakes are too high for both sides if things get too sour.

Normally, the Sau Wang is before the holiday and not during. May holiday is one of the two big holiday weeks in China beside the CNY..i think the Gong Ann knows their limits and would not over do it.... So i think it's will be pretty ok for those bros wanting fun....

Moreover, SZ is so big. There re many places to chiong... if Lowu or Futian is been watch..then go inland to places like Long Hua, Sheu Ko, Nan San etc.. If not go DG loh.....

I always stay at the Du Zhi Du Hotel (Capital Hotel Tel: 0755-27783888; 4-stars) and the action here (KTV) quite good. Selection is not as good as compared to Xiamen but can find gems here.

It's a 4-star hotel and prices are from RMB400. I got good room rates from the KT manager (PM me if you need his contact). Most taxi driver will know BaoAn Du Zhi Du hotel or just call the no. mentioned to get the exact address for the driver.

The girls rates are 2-5-10 and most can stay over night. There're lots of hotels / KTVs around here but we prefer DZD as it's safe and we know the people here very well. Don't know any FL though...
