Actually most of the princesses know how to drink, they are fairly good drinkers too. One of their job is also to 'spy' on the girls to make sure they drink and takes care of the customers. They also perform a bit like the mamasan when the mamasan is not around. If your girls do not drink or very boring, you actually can complain to the princesses.

A discreet way to complain is to start to play dices with the princess, tell her that you are bored and she will know what to do. Some places that have I being, the princess knows alot of 'games' and will lead the cutomers to play. When I was in SH, the princess led us to play 'game'. We and our mm all stripped and had a fanatastic time!

I always get my princess to drink at least abit, then she can help bring up the atmosphere!

am actually based somewhere in shandong. the ktv is supposedly the best in town, got there pretty late so the selection wasn't great but the room was pretty grand for 3guys.

Bro, is it 济南，潍坊 or 青岛？ The selection in 青岛 is the best! I am based near Shangdong too. Got chance can meet up.

Depending on area and places you go in China, tips and room fee varies.

From what I experience in Jiangsu Region.

Waitress 公主 200-300RMB
Waiter 少爷 100RMB

Hostess 小姐 200-400RMB
Mummy(male or female) 妈咪 - Same as hostess or free(if you visit often)

Room Fee - Varies a lot between, 200 joint(两百场), 300 joint（三百场), 400 joint(四百场）, etc. Some 300 joint(三百场）is fully strip joint. 200,300,400 refers to girls tips.

Please note some places like shanghai, there is even 800 joint, e.g. 缤纷年代，basically the place 10000RMB is a simple session.

There are many waitress that become hostess and vice versa. The whole system works that even waitress have to book room, so that is why people will say they will go out as well cause when you book room in China to girls or waitress you can demand somethings in return.(Places varies)

Pay the girls to sleep with you also varies 800-1200RMB 快餐，过夜，包夜(places varies or girls varies)(some limit 2 shots over night, some don't) basically some you can go through the mummy in which the mummy will take a token from the girl. Some you negotiate directly is easier. And yes many can come free if you play it right and treat them right(which is easy cause of the way their locals treat them). For some you treat them good or gentle with them, they will just think you are stupid or robert.

And you do not need to be handsome or anything to bed them but of course if you are handsome or something it is a benefit point. Flashing your money too much you might in return get not more then a person who doesn't flash so much unless you are so rich that can buy everyone. Cause in China KTV there is a lot of rich man that pay e.g. 10000RMB for 1 shot or 1 night. KTV girls my opinion don't go for the too seasoned ones.

Some places, when you hit the room fee(even in cheap room), ask mummy to free drinks, be it hard liquor or beer.

From what I try, pubs(酒吧） more difficult but if you are fun you get it easier, slightly different from KTV in my opinion.

For spa, many can negotiate to go out to freelance with you as they will earn more, you can try visiting them more often to get better perks (Dining, drinking) you might get it free. Spa girls are more straight forward.

Getting the girls drunk , tipsy and high gives you a higher chance to bed them, but don't get them knocked out.

And there are many ways to play e.g. by saying you are from spore attracts some chicks in lesser towns.

Regarding those terms in chinese blah blah blah, I don't think I going to mention here lar, let someone else do it. There are too many terms especially the spa terms.

Shanghai also got some cheaper places but at least RMB400 onwards

Agree with the strategy of getting mummy to buy drinks. Usually places where you have to tip mummy, the mummy will treat you drinks (anyway, they get the drinks much cheaper than us) and once you reach the minimum spend for the room after you visit the joint a few times. If you go to places where you don't have to tip mummy (like those in Qingdao..), they are more careful with the drinks

been quite awhile since i logged in, but this is especially informative for newbs coming to china on business or stationed here.

advice is, always get a local or a seasoned patron of ktvs to go with you. these fellas can be real blood suckers, always always check your bill when you leave and keep tabs on the liquor you consume.

regarding the waiter, it actually depends. if you go in a small group, say 3-4pax, you can actually dodge the waiter 'charge'. not being cheapskate or anything but this guy really doesn't do anything at all other than stand there and give us hot towels.
