Hi bros,

I've actually fallen for the bait. Tried smsing, in fact gotten some info out saying she's 15 yo. I knew it was a scam right away but I texted on to see the outcome, see if there's some sort of deposit money first sort of thing to prove my instincts right. But amazingly, I received a text from the father as mentioned by the bros here.

Here comes the shocking part.. I received a call from some investigation officer wanting an arrest of some sort. Mentioning I made contact with a minor blah blah blah, suggesting jail term and caning blah blah..I did panic. He offered to ask the father to call me. So on the phone the 'father' asked for a compensation as expected, in order for him to withdraw the case. I knew it was a scam involving 2 ppl. So I called the police post that guy said he's from and asked for him. To my disbelieve that officer existed. But I did not speak to him.

Any bros with similar experiences?? Some advice appreciated as well!!

Theres a few of these scams going around here in singapore and malaysia. They will post sexy or young gals photos put the number, arrange then play you out, say u screwing underaged gals, report police blah blah.......purpose is to frighten you and ask you for free money.

I believe quite a few expats and bros have fallen into these scams and pay easy money to them.

So nothing is too good, students will not place their photos and let you know they doing freelance in all these stupid free sites

So be careful, go for recommended.

Bro its quite an obvious scam, but the police officer how to explain leh? The man in blue teaming up with ppl to scam? I called the station he really exists!!

is entrapment, so what if he exists? there is no proof that it is you who sent out those messages. can be anyone who picked up your phone.

It's confirmed a scam bros. So perhaps it serves as a lesson for all. As long as the pics look too good to be true, it's probably out to dig gold. 2 guys are working together apparently. One as the girls father the other impersonating an investigation officer. It was a well worked scam. Even knew the IO's rank and branch and tel. Covered all areas. Too bad they gave themselves away with some slip-ups. Bros pls be careful!

There r quite a few of such scams on craigslist. All same MO as stated by some bros here.

Also, remember, the IO cannot call u n accuse u of crime. Tell them go to hell there r procedures to follow. Just note that grooming is an offense Liao.

Btw, anyone tried the others like kit, kyla or angel?
Avoid the one that claims two hands serve....ah aunties, unles u fetish.

Tried "heaven staff" n "yanlord's sister" nice but ex.

usually if u kanna such cases, the IO will not call you up and accuse you immediately.

he will ask you to come down to his station look for him and get a proper statement from you.

if he really offer you an alternative to settle the issue, best is can get some witness/recording then you ho seh liao, tell him you're gonna go to the police and report him for bribery. even though voice recordings cannot be made admissible as evidence, sure to scare the shit out of him.
