Hello OIOIO,
I wonder what prompted you (and/or your wife) to go for a blood test at that time? Who suggested or who went for the blood test first? How do you react when you tested +ve?

Well, we found out one day when I asked my wife's gynae what the heck are those blisters on my penis. He remarked, "oh these are herpes. You have it, your wife will most likely has it too. So common, nothing to worry." We did our blood test for HIV as required by law since we were trying for a baby, so might as well go for a full blood test. That's how we found out we are both HSV-2 positive. At first it was hard to swallow, but then when you think it over, 2 to 3 relationships... no outbreak.. over a period of more than 10 years kind of..you know.. it's inside you and you don't even know hahaa...Anyway it's ok, I treat it like having a break from sex whenever I have an outbreak.

thanks for upping my points hahaha.....I got to stay cool and patient, otherwise I will have another outbreak again! Stress is a major trigger. It's a pleasure answering your questions as best as I could.
