We should view the money we hv chosen to pay XX, a uni student in PRC, or any PRC MM in SGP, in the right context. Many of us may hv been too generous.

I recently discussed some economic issues w/ a young educated Shanghainese man, who is currently living in the US. He told me that about half of all uni students in China can't find jobs after graduation, even in good yrs. Next yr will be worse due to economic slowdown. Starting monthly salary? RMB 2,000 if u hv a degree from one of the top schools AND if u hv the right connection. Otherwise, u r out of luck. Most graduates earn only RMB 1.000 or slightly more a month, even in expensive cities such as Shanghai.

Take-home msg for me? Next time I want to bonk a pretty PRC MM, I'll keep the above in mind n drive a harder bargain, haha.

Ya.. really tough in PRC now esp with the economic conditions. My 2 cents, if u are asking me to pay this MM whom I do not know then perhaps 5K RMB is max since I can get better deal at ZH and rotate MM.

But if u talking about pple we know like Liwei etc then I will be hard press to state a figure...hahaha dunno to overpay or pay std rates..
