The above is an Imgur link of the hotel I stayed at. It's near Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal, I paid roughly $38 for the night. King sized bed, with free breakfast. The breakfast was crap, but the place was relatively decent. Quite safe area, and near De Patros cafe / the seafood area at the kelong place that other bros were talking about.

I mainly stayed in Formosa. But i do have a bit of experience on Nine Days Hotel when i linked up with another bro quite some time ago. The ambience is not bad,clean and pretty new too,the set back is no lift,hehehe....surrounding area are all higher end eateries in indo terms,eg wey wey Sea food but its a very convenient stay there as moving around basically do not require taxi,eg going for movie,shopping,Spa Massage,disco,KTV etc. But booking girls from joints may need a taxi tho,unless you wish to go Discotheque or pubs to hunt.The new Titanium Club is also nearby. Octopus Spa and Ocean Spa are close by too.

I hear from bro Metalboy's previous post that when you take Horizon Ferry,they give you some discount voucher on ManZu massage which is located at the Harbour Bay Mega Mall. Basically,when you stay there,you spend less time and money on travelling but more on enjoyment.Again,it still boils down to what kind of enjoyment you are looking for in Batam as not everyone will want the same stuffs.

I was exceptionally turned off yesterday by one masseur, and saved by another...so i wanna warn and recommend.

Wanting to try out new Massage centres (i`m a massage guy) other than my usual spots so i went to D'avant Asia Massage.

BIG MISTAKE!

Given album by reception, this not avail, that not avail, argh, anyhow choose IIRC "MEME", photo was taken on her right side of face with hair down, covering left side of face.

Took 1 1/2HR VIP, Rp140K. Led thru a 3 storey climb...
"MEME" came in, (CB) left side of face hiding a big mole that was obviously masked away from the photo, sigh.
Smile at me and teeth were blacken, cigs smell lingered on her fingers (i`m not smoker), sigh.
She switched on TV and i asked her why, she said did not want to miss drama episode and gave 1/4 effort as she paused, sometimes hard sometimes soft force applied in massaging. Sigh.
WORST PART of it all...she kept burping and burping and burping and burping and burping and burping, i could not stand it anymore...at 45min mark, i told her i gonna miss my ferry, so i left even without showering with the oil still on my body.

Paid my Rp140K. Should have complain to recep but scare wait kenna "detain" by 2 guys sitting (jaga) there lol.

She gave (imho) a good run down massage, was constantly asking whether strength was too hard or soft, good service overall. Pop HJ at 200k, bargained to 100K but HJ was SOP affair, nevermind, gave her 100K tips as she was pro in her massage and for "saving" me from "MEME" lol.
