A robbery took place at the Welcome Inn on Fields Ave at 0230 hours, Monday, 20 Jun. In the process of the robbery the suspect, Paolo Castro Bautista Jr., 29, of Biliran, Leyte, shot and killed the security guard, Reyjan Manate Palmon, 25, with two shots to the head. The suspect then fled the scene but was apprehended by policemen from Station Four as he tried to flee down Fields Ave.
So i was just a phantom follower from 10 years while you actually immersed urself in phantoms company.
Before the NGO's shut down Cambodia for cheonging, it was one of my favorite destinations. Cheapest place on earth for good cheonging back then.
If I remember right, I first met Freezone about 6-7yrs ago in Cambodia (Phn.Pen) at the airport. He was a complete newbie there and didn't know where the hell everything was or where to go. I decided to take pity on him as my Jedi -Padawan and teach him in the ways of the "force".
When I give 10p tip at places in Perimeter or Santos, never got a second glance from any waitress as they know its the standard. If I gave zero tips then I may get a black face but I often look right back with the "u gave terrible service" look.
Giving 10p at a higher end bar in Fields may result in comments so thats why I start at 20p (which should be the standard there at the nicer bigger bars on Fields) but I will also give zero tip if service sucked and don't care if she gave black face or not as its my way of expressing my opinion about her service without having to say it.
Freez
Again, well said.
Don't let the comments made or faces made change your tipping. It's an emotional tactic to get more from you even if they don't deserve it. Stick with what is normal and as I've often said in the past: "TIPPING IS NOT MANDATORY IN AC", so never give if it is not deserved. Let's not spoil or encourage the bad ones--Do not submit yourself to the "Dark Side". Of course, do tip the good ones for a good job as it is the ways of the "force".

Oh shit bro, Have to remind me all about that
Now you must write all about Cambodia and believe me guys, just those stories alone will fill an entire thread with hundreds of FRs. As much as u been to AC and PI, I think u were in Cambo even more than AC going back 5-10 years ago.
And yes it was cheap back then. One ST girl, night in a GuestHouse, food ,beers and motodop(motobike) taxi , all in for $20/day. Those were the days my friend.

They found out the guy is actually wanted for 2 similar murders and robbberies before this one. Paolo Castro Bautista Jr apprantly is a fake name.

There is a sign outside Honeypot saying ts under 'New Management'. I guess will will open soon after some palms are greased!
Just got back on Friday ; would have to say I will make it a yearly visit. I've been to Pattaya many times and there are many signs which remind me of the old Pattaya. AC is like a cowboy town ; not many regulations and modern comforts but it has it's charms.
I was expecting to take a trike to SM Mall from Central Park (where I stayed) but I walked all the time and didnt even take it once! Cheong places is less and there is not much to do in the daytime but its cheaper and more intimate in AC.
Food wise , thailand wins hands down. Hotels in Thailand are also nicer and cheaper. I hung out at Wild Aces and asked them to stream the football ; no one else bothers coz they only care about basketball and other americian sports. You can bet at the window ; like Sg Pools. Won 5000p on Japanese football! haha The place is open 24hrs and serves food 24hrs as well. There seems to be a poker tournement on every nite. I didnt make it to Pagcor casino but will next trip.
All in all , its difficult to say which is better as both has its plus and minus points. It will depend on the individual on where/what he can find what he enjoys.

Lord: you need to be admitted to the mental asylum for even contemplating sharing the good liquor with bar girls .. keep that to "Manila" people, who know fine stuff ..
And PT2: Well, the guy was known and apparantly the law has a loophole so they could not arrest him, until he was 'caught in the act'
Sort of the same case like the girl who was supposedly molested by the presidents guards, but, they will not face punishment by their own PSG rules, as, apparently, punishing means they are deemed guilty ..
so better act like nothing
After all, this is the country that wants to give hero's funeral for Marcos ..

Just another relaxing option. Pity they dont have sofas to lounge in! hahaha
I wouldnt bet anything big there , just for fun. I bet eyes are watching the collection booths and no point drawing attention to ourselfs.

Why not compare? It doesnt mean one will forsake one place just to go to the other place. We can all enjoy the good of both places. Even if you randomly buy a ticket to some forsaken Indonesian airport , the cab driver can bring you to some kumpong for fun!
Number and location of trips will depend on the special offers of the budget airlines.
Dun wanna compare cause each place has its own charm.
Different bros are attracted to or believe in different places.
But yes ur right. FUN can be had everywhere. No second thoughts on that bro. Cheers.

I am staying at the Bunny Ranch nearby and this afternoon while deciding where to go because of the rain....... I saw recruitment "interviews" conducted at the premises of thee old Honeypot bar
Spoke to one of the ang moh interviewers and he says they aim to open by next week
