Bro Intel Ops, true or fake not important. Even she is 100% trueful to you, on yr side can you commit to her, 100% accept her n even marry her?? If you only want to play play, then why bother she is true or fake? But if you are really serious with her, even you dun knw wat she is thinking now, you can do your part first. Show to her that you are sincere to her (just like how u treat yr sg gf with respect), I believe one day she will be able to understand. But in between this period yr relationship try not to involve in large amount of money, too much of money involvement only complicate matters (especially if yr gal is working gal). If she threaten to break with u for not giving her enough money, then u can ask her to turn ard with her back facing u and walk 20m away from u, then u can use yr running flying kick n kick her out from yr life!!

Vietnam has the second largest popolution in south-east asia (correct me if i am wrong). Bro Intel ops, there r a lot vietnamese gals for u to choose (if u r a vietnamese lover). Bro Intel ops, I saw yr post at Syf Tiko thread, u sound very depress. Dun worry, be strong!!... hehe...

Well, i met my wife at a certain KTV during an happy hour session with my customers. Usually i will reject gals that come in early..but the moment i saw my present wife, nothing much was said and she sat with mi. As a playboy, the first thoughts in my mind was how to fxxk her for free(which i have done many times). So as usual i took her number and msg her,and the following mon i drove her to work, and followed up with an happy hour session with her and some of my khakis..From den on, everyday is a routine for me, i will drive her to work everyday without fail,i even told her i will bring her to malaysia for a u-turn and extend her stay which of course its part of my evil plan to close the deal and be done with it. Once she called me, told me to bring her to buy HP, i was telling myself, the pattern come out liao, surprisingly, she paid 300 for the phone herself. Hmm...that started to change my thinking of her, and i brought her to malaysia to spent 1 night in JB, that started to totally change my feelings from lust to love. And the day i bought her back to singapore, i was her ong xa. But our new lovelife was short as she did nt managed to extend her stay so she had to go back to vietnam for a month before coming back. The moment i saw her off at the airport, my heart bled, and shit i told myself,i am really falling in deep love with her. The moment she went back to vietnam, i lost my job,at first i dared nt tell her abt it as i scare that will scare her away. So i told her i have a long holiday and will be meeting with her in vietnam soon, thats the first time i flew to see someone whom i known last den a month and nt knowing her well, but its just in my guts and the urge to go see her...all my friends thought i was crazy, but well its just blinded my love...the few days before i went there i confessed to my gf that actually i am out of job and i am going there using my last savings, she said its ok...she just wanna see mi...so i flew there...and i saw my lovely ba xa waiting for me at the airport, i was so happy to see her, so needless to say, i brought her and her friends to eat, shopping, etc. I was down to like 100-150 sing dollars and my gf was still shopping like crazy,i was like damn, how am i suppose to pay for the hotel and eat, n i have like 5 more days to go? I was already smsing my bros in singapore to get reeady to transfer money to me liaoz...but in the end, my wife is the one paying for everything...to the day we went back to singapore. On then i realised, hey there are still good gals in vietnam. So the moment we got back, her friends urge us to get married and so we did. Act we had a very rough patch during the early times, as i was nt werking and my wife actually had to werk in her past line just to survive, and even our engagement ring is bought by her.I know its feels like i am a useless guy, but no choice, no work=no money. Even then, feed me alone nt enough, she still has to support her family in vietnam. But u guys will nv know how much it hurts to see her go work....but she nv go hotel with any customers one, coz she is quite pretty and can have alot of customers in a day, she can earn up to 300+ dollars a day jus by sitting down and chitchat(i was her customer once) so i know hw she works. And i fetch her to-and-fro work everyday without fail. So nw i am a happily married man, with a kid-on-the-way, with a stable job now and a beautiful wife, wat more can a man ask for? Although sometimes we still send money back to vietnam, but its like 200-300 a month?

Sorry for the long story, but jus wanna share my truth life story..

We are talking getting a job in Sg where you have to complete with degree holders from recognised UK, Aust and even local degree holders.

If you do not realise that RMIT has a campus in HCMC and another in Hanoi. Quality education is coming to Vietnam. Singapore is now getting `foreign talents' from all over the world. Sometimes you just really wonder how easy it is for foreigners to work in Singapore, has finding a job become such an easy task for foreigners nowadays?

Very often, where you get your degree is not the main concern. Its the work experience that you acquire after education that is more important. Pardon me, but comparing degrees is just a kid's past time. Let me cite an example. UK degree holders will look down on Aussie degree holders while local degree holders will look down on all foreign degree holders. What's there to compare? Its how successful you are in your career now that is more important. So be it Vietnamese, UK, China, Aussie or even local degrees, there's no need to compare. If you really want to compare, then ask yourself what you have achieved ?

This I agreed with, very much. These days, I interviewed many with foreign degrees : India, China especially (those that you just cannot believe it - written in Chinese!..and I don't read a single word...), Phillipine, M'sia, UK, US, Aust, NZ - the one with real experience & shown potential (softskill, comm skill, team-work..etc.) will be chosen instead. I hardly look at grades!! (These are left for the HR to tackle!)

Indeed, I noted RMIT established an early branch in HCMC, so is Hartford, Informatics... I hope bro Botar gets in touch soon!

Your story really does strike a chord with me.

While yes, there are some girls that do this solely for money so they can spend, spend, spend... there are some who are forced to do it.

As a man, sometimes we have this "knight in shining armour" complex which makes us even more vulnerable to these sob stories. Granted, some are fake but there are some true stories among them.

It's really hard for us to imagine the lives they lead. I have a vietnamese friend here (she's studying here for her degree) and she admits that coming from a rich family in HCMC, she too doesn't experience the hardship that some of her countrywomen face.

I mean... my BX never got to go to school. Working in padi fields from 6yrs until she was 12, then washed dishes in restaurants till 15. Learnt how to do hair & nails from her cousin then worked in a hair salon from 18-21, then came over to Stinkapore be KTV girl.

Re: Understanding Vietnamese Life Partner

Not to sound bad, but if you are really unsure if the kid is yours, then better go HSA for a DNA test. It will do you a lot of good. Often for working ladies, they don't even know who the father is if they are pregnant, and they just simply find one stupid chap to take the burden. Let's say u are a working lady and you had unprotected sex with 5 to 10 guys over a period of 2 to 3 weeks, then who the ass is the father? For the vietnamese WL, the father will be one that is easy to con and is willing to settle down with her.

Thanks bro for the advice....

Will do that if i really feel unsecure, but i do really trust my wife and i think she feels the need for me to trust her as she has really been there for me even though i lost my job and have also been encouraging me since my job lost and my friends all start to leave me when i needed the most help.

Lesson learnt: Not all friends are reliable(even your so-called brothers).

PS : Thanks to all the brothers who upped me.(Will return the favour soon)
