You just got to have local connection.

I went with my friend who is Laos.

Van rental 200000 kip per day inclusive of fuel. Seats 9 person.
Girls they bring to yr room to show u, USd 60 a day in vang vieng
Girls are like 18-21.. Fair skin.. Whole night.. Unlimited shots.. But I barely can do 3 shots..

Girls are more ex in capital. About 90usd for whole night.
Local connection is really impt.
Left 1 more night here. Defiantly be back here.

I would say it's the last place to have fun before price shot up

My friend 60 year old uncle has 4 girlfriend.. Young pretty one.
Man!! U just got to have money to support them. They just want a better life.

I would say Laos is a place to retire. Build a house cost about 60Kusd
Got to think of investment here in Laos.

I already planning next trip in August!!

I know it's a taboo topic but be careful about your investment. You can never really own the land that you built anything on it. 60k USD is quite expensive in rural areas if that's what you are looking at. 60k should include land price in rural areas.

But seeing Laos in person, I am sure you see the opportunities the place offer.

My friend's family is like connected to government, police, custom, import and export.. Influential ppl in Laos.

Got to rethink how to seize the opportunity.

Yep, and change what you need at the airport or a bank. The exchange rate is pretty standard where ever you go.

You'll need local currency for food whether in restaurants or noodle shops. You can pay USD in restaurants but the exchange rate will not be as good as you get at airport bank counters.

Just take into account that anything you buy will be 20-30% more expensive than Thailand.

Not sure where you got the $60k figure from. If you're in Vientiane, the figure is more like $130k...if you move to Vang Vieng it'll be more like $80-100k for a liveable place.

Bear in mind that construction costs is about 30-40% higher than Thailand since everything is imported and Laos uses "French" bricks which is less than 1/2 the size of the bricks we're familiar with in Msia and Sg.

I think it's better to just have fun for 4 days, have 30 shots and go home

Can also use Thai baht to pay anywhere u go. The difference in exchange rate is negligible anyway. I always use Thai baht there. Save the hassle of changing into kip and can't finish the notes.

You do have a few options:
1. ask the tuk-tuk guy to take you
2. ask the hotel bell boy to organise (if the hotel has bell service)
3. just go to a karaoke/nightclub places, quite normal to have a choice of over 100 girls there, ask the mamasan (may not speak English, Thai is ok) for girls that will follow you back to hotel. Some don't, most do.
4. You can check out some bars like "Bo Pen Yang" there are usually some girls looking to be picked up for $$

Yep Thai Baht works, but I like to use kip...have you seen the exchange rates they give you at Fuji and Kop Chai Der...more like THB1-Kip200 when it should be 230-240...but for the girls of course THB or USD....just give the leftover kips to the last girl you with la...haha...Cheers

I have been to a few ktv clubs like sanjiang,Di hao,as well as daokhaom or something. But the quality is so so only. I'm looking for better looking models ( nevermind the price ) as Long as it's good. can u share some places or contacts to find any? Pretty bored to be there for a night or two and love to have someone to have dinner with etc. thanks in advance.
