There are some chicken farms on Sukhumvit Road outside of Bangkok ( road that goes to Pattaya ) but before the highway was made .

Thermae was crowded (with punters) on thurs night. Only a bit standing room to view the wares.

Was on my return 1 day leg from 3 nights do in Patts (a longish one from my usual 1-2 nights). Been 1 year since my last salvo to Patts. Nothing's changed, as time stood still there.

Most of my time in LOS is with my squeeze over on Thonburi side, no farangs in sight. Old krungthep city neighborhood. Can't say I missed bright neon lights in SC or NEP.

My visit was about the same as you around 10 plus years back.
