Bro Shanghaitan,
Couldn't agree with you more....not that i don't like Singaporean (I'm a singaporean too!!)....working with my singaporean collegues are great..all my good friends are singaporean...but my work turn stale at a certain point and i'm slogging like a slave...I didn't find any balance....
So i decided to jump ship and look for greener pastures....working here can be challenging and frustrating at times....the chinese here can be so lazy at times....so frustrating sometimes to ask my subordinates to do something which would be a breeze with my singaporean collegues....either they don't give you the respect or just pure lazy.....but i had manage to slowly cope with the problem...I don't face these problems back home...it slowly will build your character and personality....take is as a challenge and stepped out of my comfort zone....
Maybe i'm a person that like to move around and experience stuff rather than being so routine back home....
maybe after i'm in my comfort zone in shanghai..I decided i want to go somewhere else....hahahaha

Bro Nongho,
I agree that China builds character. Just have to be mindful that a character that is "Made In China" can be something quite hard to comprehend for Singaporeans back home. Family members will detect subtle changes what you won't even know exist.. some of these changes turn one into a "monster" in the eyes of others. I remembered the lyrics of a song which mentioned something like ....."Leave Florida before you get soft, leave New York before you get hard".. I guess that applies for Shanghai and China as well.. great place to learn but just be mindful always... Hope you find what you're looking for in China....

Actually, I have two numbers in my handphone, both are with Name ___Shanghai. Cannot remember which one. I shalll call both and see who is the right one. Must be the age. I think one belongs to the Sichuan girl during our first outing, and the other one is the MM that you are interested. I shall call them when I am in China this weekend (too bad, in Xian... No one to go with me to the Hua Qing Garden for a Hot Spring Bath together...). I do not want them to have my Singapore number. Shall be in Shanghai from 15 March, and shall call you all for Tea or Coffee.

Let us work together to break the 200 page record for this thread.

With best regards.

Dear PTR aka UFO Man,

I'm glad to hear that the emergency is over and everyone is fine... Definitely, I understand and respect that you check with her before you give me her number. Anyway, why don't we meet up for dinner when you're here? and we can call the two girls down... Hahahaha....

Anyway, I'm downloading new songs onto my computer and learning them, so that I can sing some new songs to you next time... Hahaha....

Best wishes.

Dear Bro Liu,
I agree with you that some China man are really scheming. It is very important to know where to draw the line. Dealing with these people is not easy and for those who are able to adapt and conquer, I'm just sounding out to not let the "newly evolved mentality" overshadow what is inherent inborne in us and accepted our society, family and friends.

The "made in China" I'm referring to is the new outlook and cultural traits brought about by immersing in China for extended periods of time. Every country has her own cultural buildup and they are as different as fresh and sea water fish. Both looks primarily similar but the similarities are ownly skin deep. Inside, it's different. Use the "made in China" personality in China as it will serve one well, but don't bring it back to Singapore or anywhere else in the world. "Made in China" thinking sometimes can make us thinking faster and further but the there is a time and place for everything...

Seemed like I'm rambling on and on pointlessly.. oh well... maybe it's one of those days for me.. ahhahahaah... Whatever the case, best of wishes for everyone in China!

Cheerio~!

Dear Brother,

Thank you for the understanding and acommodating our UFO's practice. I will try. I am touched by the concerned of so many brothers concerning my family emergency. We had very worrying moment, but am grateful that, thanks to your well wishes, everything turned out fine. I will definitely talk to the Sichuan MM, as this is our UFO practice. Your suggestion is good to have dinner with them. Shall we have a 2 on 2 at your place? Hahaha..

Make sure you learn Xiao Gang's songs as he, like you is my idol.

See you soon in Shanghai.

bro nongho,
As I said, maybe my expectation is too high, but as compare to JB's massage, I think I still prefer the service in JB.
basically I think she is not the type I like and its just a place to f***, not even a simple touch touch massage, and the room is so dark, the only time you can see the girl clearly is when you walk into the room and she greeted you. Other than that, you are having sex with a shadow with some fake sound effect.
Unwillingly after changing 3 positions, I told her forget it, I'll not complain and just call off the session. But she insisted that they cannot stop until the customer "cum". So, I need to close my eyes and imagine her as another girl inorder to finish up the session quickly.

Cheers!

Haha.... Well, dinner either at my place, or anywhere else, it doesn't really matter that much, does it? If it's after dinner activities, then it's a totally different story... Hahaha....

Well, I wouldn't dare claim the right to be your idol.... And after all, I don't really know his songs... And I have this penchant for duets... But alas, not many girls here know how to sing the duets I like to sing... In fact, at this very moment, I'm listening to a "new" song... It's new to me, but I'm not sure if it's new at all or not in the market... Hahaha....

Looking forward to seeing you again...

Dear Brother Shanghaitan,

What you have been saying is useful to many people, verterans and new arrivals. Remember I have said once on the definition of Intelligence?

According to the French man, Mr. Delacroix : "Intelligence is one's ability to adapt to a new situation". A definition that I adopt and believe in it deeply.

One must learn how to adapt to a new situation no matter where we are.

My 2 cent worth

Red face Re: ShangHai Recommendation!

Dear Bro PuTonRen,

Thank you for your kind words. Much appreciated. Indeed, one has to be adaptive but adapting takes time. Some faster while others slower. The slower one takes, the higher the chance of the changes becoming ingrained, resulting is behavioral changes. A case of speed boats and super tankers changing course....

No doubt even a super tanker can change back to the original course but it will take longer, while in the mean time, knocking and "hurting" objects (family, friends) around it.

Some may become so fascinated and engrossed by the changes one have to make to survive in China that they fail to realize other knock-on effects and dangers as a result of such changes. For the quick and nimble, it is alright as he will be able to jump in and out of roles with greater ease due to the mental dexterity he possesses.

Well... that's just my view anyway. Others may agree or disagree but it is something that I believe. I think some brothers who have been here for a long time may have experienced different degrees of disassociation one time or another when they return home. It is a feeling of "hmmm... strange..... I no longer feel that I belong here somehow, and yet, I don't feel that I truly belong in China as well..." It is a disheartening thought....

Alrighty! Enough of such dark and solemn thoughts.... I apologize to anyone whom I have accidentally made moody... not my intention... just expressing some things going through my mind at this juncture of my life...

Cheerio~!

This kind of "feeling" is quite common among people who have settled or worked for a "period" of time in a foreign land but yet didnt settle down there.

When one return to their homeland they feel that they are a little out of place and have problem adjusting to life there. With "the either or there" feeling.

I believe "time" will heals this feeling.

That's part and parcel of people with "work or live" overseas...
