Based on my understanding, assets attained before marriage won't need to be split after a divorce. The only exception is the matrimonial home. How much the judge will award her is up to the judge. My 2 cents is get her to stay with you full time for 1 or 2 years to see how see behave. Second, as far as money is concern, make sure you never give it all up even when married. Third, get a PI to find out more, like her movements when you are not in China. Finally, good luck.

Not sure if this applies to everyone in China, but I understand that many of these chinese spent years of their lives preparing for their Gao Kao (like higher national exams). And the type of training and efforts they receive and put in puts many of us Singaporeans to shame. They are so determined to work hard, and the hours they put in.

In short, they have been trained to lock on to 1 objective and work towards it since young. So once they lock their sights on a person or "benefits" surrounding that person, they'll go all out to get it.

I think its ingrained in them.

You are correct... I have a former PRC lady colleague who come to SG to study her MBA in NUS after working here
for 10 years she got her SG Citizenship on her own merit.

I respect her on that but she told me not chase after PRC girls because most of them all want $$$
