The rate for RMB is 5.095.

should I change SGD to RMB @ Sillypore, or should I SGD to RMB when I get to China? Which will have better rate???

It is not a matter of better rate.
Even if you get a better rate in china, will you dare to change.
In the end you will end up having many special notes.

When i was i SZ last week, i use my UOB CC but found the rate given is 5. but the cash rate is above 5.

If u don mind using CC then use it as bring alot of cash in China will be dangerous.

If you need to bring alot of RMB then change it in SIN otherwise you can always encash from ATM,it could be a pain trying to change sin into rmb there, be very careful when carrying alot of cash in China & never flash the cash you are carrying.
