My goodness, a win at last and through a late goal by Glen, of all people! Sterling saving a sure goal at the other end as well, again of all people!
Well I will still gladly take it nonetheless and hope things start to improve although prognosis still looks in doubt? Really important win as Gunners and United both won as well.

I managed to watch the full 97 minutes.
Liverpool was lucky to be challenging an equally clueless Stoke City in the first 45 minutes. The atmosphere in Anfield was so different and it felt so disappointing. There is no point to single out an individual player for praise or criticism. On the bright side, Liverpool is 5 points off the final slot for Champions League qualification.

Wow yester's game must have seen the fewest pre and post match posts. Lol
Ok, a win is a win. Ugly win still 3 pts in the bag. Yes, a DRAW would hv been a fairer result, Hughes n Stoke must hv felt really hard done. With some luck, Stoke might even hv stolen a win. Positives: Mignolet was quiet in the 1H but he saved us with a few critical saves in the 2H. Our defence seems ok but partly cos Stoke was impotent for most of the game. Negatives: Attack was again impotent. 1H was largely non existent. Coutinho and Raheem tried very hard, both seemed to overwork but the team was overly dependent on them. Btw, Stoke's wonderboy Bojan was excellent. He could hv single-handedly won the game for Stoke if not denied by the post. Wonder why our talent scouts cannot spot such gems or Pool not attractive enough???

SG is now here just for the sake of staying here.
He is the only one who will shout at his teammates and motivating them... Paying 140k juz to keep an aging captain has no monetary meaning to a business owners. Anyway he is going to earn double that amount if he goes to middle east or china
