Any information on Haikou ?

Hi guys. Just want to check if there is a red light district in wen chang. And how do you ask the drivers to go there? Hong deng qu? Will the driver understand what I am saying if I ask him to drive me to hong deng qu? Or is there another term?

First the discliamer:-
Unlike you who are going with your " older gen". I alway go with my "junior gen" so must behave .I had never actually choeng at wen chang before.

I was told:-
Wenchang is actually the place the local go for the R n R. Meaning this town is the red light area for the locals.
I saw around 文昌维嘉国际大酒店 there are plenty of BBS.
Local speciality is hotel delivery rather than sauna or ktv. Vegetables are really green and fresh even when compared with CP n DS. (hearsay only).

And the CNY period is peak period for tourism in Hainan.
Meaning...it is not quite like what others here have advised you earlier.
"CNY very little mm and fewer customers also".
MM fewer yes.....but in Hainan.......maybe not fewer customers but more customers.

If you play golf @ hainan during this period and you asked the caddy where they are from.
Most common reply was "beijing".
Initially I was confused,
Then I realised......these mm/caddies worked at golf course in BJ, during winter...when it is too cold no business; they go to Hainan to work.

Unfortuantely.....KTV mm are not as hard working.
