because this two day no exchange rate mah, always remember don't change your money during holiday or weekend. china town all say 240.5.
better wait until monday

According to my experience, JB rates are better than SG by RM0.50~RM2.00.
But of course depends on location too.

In JB, the money changers after customs are having similar or very competitive rates. the most, diff is about RM0.50 for SGD$100.

In SG, you can consider changing at Woodlands, near Sheng Siong area, rates are competitive to other parts of SG, no point go far far and change for the RM0.50~RM1 difference.

For changing large amount, I recommend changing in SG cos security is much better. You might lose out some RM but safety and security most impt.
If you changing a bit only, can go JB for better rates, nt much but is along the way. Take it as a parking waiver by JB $ changers.

$SGD 100 = MYR 240.50

Location: After exit the Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (CIQ), turn left after the Shell Station.

$SGD 100 = MYR 240.70
Location: Taman Ungku Tun Aminah (Opposite the Wet Market, same row with Public Bank / Maybank)

28/4/11 Toa Payoh Central near Courts Superstore (2nd shop).

Posted sign on window 240.80 but when I changed she only give me 238.00.
When I asked why, she says 240.80 rate is for big notes

I asked back my money and went to the 1st shop opposite Fork n Spoon cafeteria. They give me 240.00.

They only want $50 note and above......... once I went to change SGD$500 into ringgit after CNY...... and had plenty of new $10 notes from the angpows but the moneychanger refused to accept them.

brother , u go until the end along the by pass the maybank, u can see another money changes in the road end. They offer higher.Normally their rate on the board is higher then town. but when u change, they give u more 0.15
