Yes you hit the right note that there is fear. So may i ask what is the opportunity cost of taking up this fear and take a one shot chance for the opposition who currently, don't have policies which fundamentally differs from the ruling party? It isn't like the democrats and republicans in the US or the Conservatives and the Labour in the UK. These political parties are against each other neck to neck and their policies have clear distinctions.

Opportunity cost? This is a country not a business, if run your country like a
business it will be ruined beyond repair.

Imagine if one day singapore gets invaded by a foreign army should the local
singaporean soldier also ask the opportunity cost of defending the island??

Life is about chances and risks, they are only there for 5 yrs, the opposition is
not being named king, if they are good keep them else boot them like in other
countries, thats why people have elections.

Was reading the subsidies for an old lady cleaner in my office. Who earn only 800 per mth but she need to pay 300 monthly for her hubby nursing home. Left over 500 she need to eat bread everyday because her hubby and her long term medication cause her nearly 200 plus per month. Real life example happening right in front of my eye.

I can't believe she was being charged for the hospice stay for her hubs Btw she is 70 this year and also a cancer patient. I'm sure there are many cases like this what our government is doing? I did help her to reach out to someone in PAP and refer her case to that person. He said he will send me the contacts to help her but said to say till to date that person never revert me back on Facebook.


Back to the subsidies, Middle income people will suffer badly their subsidies is only 20 percent and per household 3k. I'm sure younger generation and middle income earner like me will suffer badly once our parent fall sick.
