NOVEMBER BAR CLOSURES

Next month due to a Royal Funeral, it is most likely that the bars and other nightlife venues will have to close nationwide. Police sources have revealed that they think the closure dates will be November 14th, 15th and 16th. However, at this time these dates have NOT been confirmed 100%. I will keep you informed and please look out for last minute updates closer to the time.

Its sometimes difficult to know when the bars due to elections or royal ceremonies are closing coz even the bar owners and police do not know themselves till last minute. Typical for thais to wait and see.

So best option is to go a few days early to stock up on phone numbers and booze OR avoid the dates.

We were stuck in Pattaya once with the elections and had to drink undercover! Although the bars were open and booze was served , there was no music and no girls so no atmosphere. At least in bangkok , you can go MBK shopping!

On a different note , you can be a real tourist and go see elephants and temples!

apart from nana, soi cowboy and patpong, are there any new groupings of go-go bars? abt 7 years ago, there was clinton plaza but the crop there arent very nice.

soi cowboy's girls who do performances like special dances in Long Gun tend to be prettier but in the end all go-go bar girls are birds of a feather, cant mix with KTV or hostess girls.

all birds work in the night are thick as thieves, cunning like the sharpest knives, some are like choppers, some are like paper cutters, your choice your fun.

or be like me, jus simply avoid taking the risk and pay abit more to postphone the entire trip later to xmas period

Sunday was the first time in my life to enter a agg bar. Bacarat was the first and the last. For the next 5 nites I find myself back at the same spot, buying the same gal drinks but no barfine.......deep inside I know I am waiting for that some one.....

Dam disappointed.....suddenly the one I have been dreaming of walked in front of me!! It is her!! Quickly told waitress I wanna her and she came to sit with me. Straight away barfine and ta pau for LT. Later she told me she took leave for 3 days.

Cut story short, it was my first time bringing a gal for LT anywhere in the world and it was the best I ever had with anyone besides my wife......fate really brought us 2 together just for a short nite that will live on forever in my heart.............To her I wish her all the best and I hope I will not see her when I next visit Bacarat because that will mean she has move on for a better life......

Managed to convince my boss to send me to BKK again for some assignments. But the real motive is Baccara.....cheong at 1930hrs on Sunday hoping to get her early for LT and go for nice dinner but to my disappointment no sign of her till 9pm. Sigh....maybe she quit......

Second night no actions as I was not well and last night decided to try my luck again. Told myself will wait only till 2030hrs before I venture to another bar looking for new pastures. When I stepped into Baccara at 1915hrs, VIOLA!!! She is on stage with a new hairdo and colour but that smile still as sweet. And she actually remembers me and straight away waved at me.....

Lucky she left stage after 5 minutes and I immediately BF her. We went for a nice Japanese dinner and then all was history......

What surprised me was during dinner we chatted and she actually remembers what we talked about the last time I was with her. That was a good 1 and half months ago!!! Considering these gals have ST or LT every nite, she must have something for me as she remembers so vividly our conversations.

These gals are real addictive and they just kept appearing in your mind......

Hopefully something screw up in BKK before Dec so that I can come back.....after Dec, no more BKK as I am changing new job, no more flying.......
