Re: Cambodia (Phnom Penh)
Bro,
The Bridge is selling at about USD$2,600psm. The rental yield is by Developer for 3 years 6% each year. I personally brought 2 units there. Well everyone see things differently and each have our own opinion. PP have at least another 15 years of development. Fun in Riverside should be here to stay. I have managed to get some nice girls in VVIP and also Apple Pub. This is stall a cheap party joint and drinks are cheap. I do not go to Soul as it is not my type of place. I have gone to ABC to fish for girls too (Near Central Market). Mainly Vietnamese. I am still going around to seek up. So have fun there Bro. Cheers |

Cambodia - Phnom Penh
Paiseh I'd like to ask Cambodia experts here if it's advisable to go Phnom Penh during Chinese New Year period?
Will it be like a dead town similiar Ho Chi Minh and China cities? Thanks. |

Re: Cambodia (Phnom Penh)
There are a number of Chinese and mostly Teochew in PP. They do celebrate in some way. But you will sure enjoy yourself there. Twice the fun for what you pay in Thailand. LoL.

Re: Cambodia (Phnom Penh)
many bubbles in cambodia, invest with your eyes open, rich only few, poor a lot , middle class not yet coming up (their so call middle class cannot compare to our definition of middle class)
sex trade caters to mostly ang mohs who were here first, so lots of bars and then lots of ktv due to lots of chinese influence, previous generation lots of chinese come to help fight khmer rougue, then they became officers and awarded lots of land, i personally knew a few of their descendants. word of advice, deal with them carefully, although their powers is diminishing but still they can shoot you in the head and get away with it. |

Re: Cambodia - Phnom Penh
Less than normally as during Tet (Vietnamese New Year) quite few girls go back to province or Vietnam. Anyway enough gals to have fun.

How easy is PP to negotiate for a newbie nowadays? I've only been down to PP/Siem Reap once quite a few years ago; at that time I found it not only quite hard to get into the swing of things, strangely I had even become quite depressed at how poor the country WAS in general and the depth of desperation there seems to be everywhere I went to there. To the point that the very few mongering forays I was on wasn't really that enjoyable. But now I read from here as well as other sources/friends that PP is now quite accessible and more important real fun and lively. I would appreciate any and all input/advice... with mucho thanks beforehand. SEAJ |
