Great game. Comfortable 3-0 win over PSV in the champions league.

Monster Marsch is playing well. Like the combination of Marsch n Alonso, 2 great holding midfielders just like the old Valencia duo's holding midfielder. Did the dirty work well.

If Benitez is using the previous Valencia model into Liverpool then this 2 will be somewaht a permanent feature. Then the debate will rage on abt Gerrard's role. N there will be ppl start talking tat Gerrard is not happy. So what's ye guys view on tis? Is Gerrard really unhappy?

The way i c it, the best options so far is 2 play like we play against Arsenal which would mean Gerrard play along one striker. This is the only way I c Gerrard playing in the middle and fully utilise our 2 wide flank.

yes bro looks more like a 4-4-1-1 formation but that would mean less fire power as one less striker, think suit Gerrard better...but that would really mean building the team round one player..which may be counter productive.
