I checked back into Tiger Hotel. Must say the hotel is thus far the best. I placed reservation for my feb trip redi.

As a longtimer of AC, Looks like I don't have to give you any more advice as you have already learned your lesson this time around. Although things seem cheap in AC, the cost can really add up quickly--as you have found out

Pattaya is passe liao...... if compare to AC I would say Pattaya is the MILF while AC is the SYT

I been a regular of both places and I choose AC anytime over Pattaya. Everything in Pattaya lose out to AC except maybe the beach and ladyboys. ....... and I find the mafiosi there damn irritating.

I agree, but Pattaya is lot safer than Angeles City. Overall, Bangkok and Pattaya's gogo bars have prettier girls but AC girls are more fun and able to speak English!

Also, I would never retire in Angeles City or Philippines!

To each his own...... I've never been really comfortable in Pattaya tats why I prefer to cheong Bangkok, Hatyai, Danok.

I oso like Chiangmai for the relaxing lifestyle and atmosphere and the friendly hilltribe gals of the golden triangle....... but going to Pattaya doesn't give me that "feel good" factor.

My current favourite playground is Angeles.

Had to go to Manila for several days 2 weeks ago so I made sure I had enough time for a quick diversion to AC. Lucky it is only about 90mins away.
