Think economy will be gloomy until new US president elected, as u see, Bush administration relax to throw all the shit to the next president. SG govt is the best. Solution: do nothing and follow the market, best is thier pay increase @ 1 Jan 2008. NO ppl to oppose, u call this democracy or tyranny? Forcing ppl to leave their own country when they oppose the policy. Why scholar still go oversea to futher their studies, where here has a world class university that they always said!! The STI has been fallen jialatz since beginning of the year and is an indication of gloomy economy ahead. Heard that lots of new lauch condo has to be KIV until sometimes.

the economy for 2008 is basically finished!!...i pretty much believed tat it will go worst by yr end, there will be write down from global investment banks in 4th qtr 08. As for sg economy, i think we might go under 4% GDP. For STI, i recogn the we will test 2100 - 2300 pts by yr end..

as for 2009, i think basically the same..will see more retrenchment n less job creations.However, due to the IR, the blow might not be as jialat compared to 2001.

as for property mkt, most pte projects will be KIV. But cash tight developers might be hard press to sell off their projects n hence might see some reduction in prices ( i think as much as 20% discount). Bro who has gd cash power might wanna take note...But if u r hoping for HDB value or COV to fall, i think must pray the economy of 2009 went into recession!!..

Right now is more wise not to purchase any investment link policies from those big players like Pudential, AXA,AIA and John Hancock. I am afraid that all these companies will have the same fate with AIG.
