Fast forward for a while since we only did simple things for the remaining of the trip. We walked endlessly holding hand together, ate non-fancy food just by the corner of the street sharing laughter between each other, we took a bus to random places and of course we made love again and again the moment we stepped back in the hotel. It was nice things to do, things that we couldn't do it back in Singapore, things that sometimes remind us that the best things in life are simple and free.

Hong Kong airport, Saturday noon

Cheryl: Can't believe its the end of the week again
Max: Yeap, time flies Cher
Cheryl: *sigh*

I kissed Cheryl's forehead and said:

Max: Didn't we have a good time?
Cheryl: We did.. it could be longer
Max: Could be indeed

I held her hand, walked together slowly to our gate.

Max: Do you want to shop around Cher? There are quite a few things to shop here.
Cheryl: Its fine, lets just head to our gate and wait there
Max: Is there something wrong? You have something troubling your mind.
Cheryl: I am fine Max, its nothing.
Max: Oh look, there is your favorite egg tart right over there. Do you want to grab some to go?
Cheryl: Thank you Max but I don't feel like eating
Max: Alright then

So we reached our gate and we decided to sit further away from the counter just to be away from the crowd. We settled on quite area not too far away, quite enough to talk but close enough to see whether the plane is ready for boarding or not. We sat down and I turned my head to see Cheryl's pretty face. I looked at her eyes and said:

Max: So tell me, it is rather unusual that my pretty girl doesn't want to shop and eat her favorite tart. Whats my pretty girl want now?

Cheryl leaned her head to my shoulder and held my hand.

Cheryl: I don't know what I want now Max. I do know what I don't want..
Max: What is that?
Cheryl: I don't want what we have now to end. But I know we have decided something else.
Max: We have, haven't we? So tell me what can I do to put a smile back on your pretty face?
Cheryl: mmmm...
Max: How bout a kiss?

Cheryl turned her head and looked at me

Cheryl: Okay, a kiss..

I looked at her eyes, tilted my head a little before I could slowly get closer to kiss Cheryl. She closed her eyes and we kissed. It was just one kiss..

Max: I am going to miss kissing you Cheryl..
Cheryl: Then kiss me more now.. Kiss while you can kiss me..

So I went for her lips again and we practically kissed again and again, we held our hand, we kissed, we stopped for a while to look at each others face or eyes and we kissed yet again. I couldn't count how many times we kissed, I practically lost track on how many number of kisses I had on her lips. Probably we kissed more than we kiss for the whole journey combined together. Nothing too lustful, we didn't get touchy or anything while we were kissing. It was starting with just a kiss, but it turned out to be endless kiss right until the airline called us to board the plane.

So we finally stood up, I held her hand yet again while we walked to our gate. We found our seats in the plane and did not share many words between each other during that 3 hours plus of the return journey. We held our hand closely still though for that 3 hours plus.

After the plane landed, we proceed to the normal clearance and ready to depart to our own way. But before that, she asked:

Cheryl: What will you remember of me from this trip Max?
Max: Every single bit and every moment of what we have gone through Cher..
Cheryl: And what will you think of me as of now Max?
Max: my sweetheart..

Cheryl smiled and hugged me before she stepped back..

Cheryl: Good bye Max.. good bye my lover.. until the next trip..

Back in the office, Monday morning

Not long after I reached office and sat down, I went to see the partner to brief him on how was Hong Kong and the project's outlook. Once I went back to my table, I noticed that Cheryl was not in the office. I texted her to check whether she is doing alright or not. I was kind of afraid of the awkward feeling if I see Cheryl in the morning when I reached office actually. But I kept thinking to myself that "you gotta move on to make it less awkward".

Not long after that, Cheryl texted me back saying that shes alright and will be back in the office the next day. I told her to rest well if shes unwell.

Of course I did not forget some cheeky smile from people in the office, especially the guys, since I was the first almost same level opposite sex that went for overseas trip together with Cheryl. The word that I went for business trip with one of the hottest girl in the office of course spread like wild fire back then, I still remember. It was weird to counter react to those weird smile, but at least nobody came to me and personally asked the detail. All were just on the surface kinda questions. Until Wendy came over to me and rolled a chair beside me so she could sit there and asked:

Wendy: So how was it?
Max: It was good, client seems pretty happy.
Wendy: Good! But let me ask you again, so how was it?

Oh before that, pardon my manner. Let me introduce you Wendy my dear reader: Wendy is another colleague of mine. Wendy, Cheryl and I are all holding pretty similar level and responsibility at work. Both of them are smart and pretty in their own way. Wendy has this long black wavy hair and a very tall slim figure (probably 175cm) as compared to Cheryl's short hair and not so tall figure (probably 165cm). Wendy has this model aura and look whether Cheryl is more classy and elegant beauty kinda type. For clothing wise, Wendy is often wearing long pants kinda attire whether Cheryl is a dress and pencil skirt lovers. Wendy has a dimple on her face and rather outgoing personalities that makes us believe that she is more approachable and friendlier than Cheryl. The thing is, Wendy is attached for long time and never failed to bring her boyfriend as her trophy. Probably that's why she is not that uptight in the office and more sociable as compared as Cheryl in the office. Probably she believe that the idea that she is attached may turn away the "picking up" vibe for those guys who want more than just a friendship. Oh, last but not least, since both are very pretty and attractive in my office, probably both of them can be in the top 5 of the whole company, they do hang out together as a close friends at work and after work, both Cheryl and Wendy. I hope by now you should have more detailed imagination for both of them before we can continue further.. So are you ready?

So she stood up and walked away just like that. Wow that was awkward I told myself, anyway moving along. So I called Cheryl during lunch time:

Max: Hey Cher, whats wrong with Wendy?
Cheryl: Huh?
Max: She came to me and asked whether I slept with you or not.
Cheryl: Haha, its just Wendy being Wendy.
Max: Yea, I mean whats up with that
Cheryl: Just ignore her Max, I think she is still frustrated of me being single. She tried to match make me few times with some of her guy friends.
Max: It didn't work out well?
Cheryl: Well.. they are just not my cup of tea lets just put it this way..
Max: Oh, what about the handsome guy you went together to Hong Kong for recent business trip? Is he your cup of tea?
Cheryl: mmm... he is more than just my cup of tea Max, I actually kept thinking of him last night and thanks to him, I couldn't sleep well. He makes my mind turn wild thinking of him. So I blame him for me not turning to work this morning.

I kept quite for a while before I was able to continue the conversation, I didn't know whether Cheryl is trying to fuck my mind up yet again and she is telling the truth. If she is telling the truth, I didn't know that I have left such an impact to her.
