Any bro know of a kind of small bottle cap drink that sell just right outside of patong inside a shop call eleven '11' kind of like 7-11. The name of the drink is in thai it got a few word in english like foreplay, virgin etc... i ask the person in the store and he say is to drink before drinking beer.

Anyone got any idea what this is?

i read from some post on the net that renting a bike and ride is quite dangerous, as quite a no. of accidents involved tourist riding bike.

it is advisable to still rent a bike? cause i really wanted to explore phuket on a bike, but not sure of the road con and traffic there...

Bro, there is no need to worry. In Fact i feel much more safer compare to sg.
Just need to keep left and ride slow.. dun ride like a racer..

Take note if you have have a licence your insurance might not cover u.

ya, Bro, just make sure u got ur Riding Licence with u all the time when u ride the bike as there r afew spot check on the way around Patong outside Sub-Way... n afew places... so long they see SINGAPORE, they will let u go ... but just ride slow n careful can already...

n Helmet also, as nw u need to wear Helmet for the rider n the Pillion...

should be can la.. actually bo license also can ride one.. as i went there to rent bikes without license.. just prepare kena caught i think gotta pay abt 500thb.. which is $20sgd... but after that u still can continue riding.. funny right..

majority are offering at 200bht/day. Some of the bike aer quite new too. try to avoid the road leading to Patong cos the police will cfm stationed there to stop all motorists every evening.

as for whether it is safe to ride at night, i think it applies to the day time as well. Ride safely and slowly. No need to cheong mah. Exploring phuket on a bike can be fun, but then, make sure u know ur way well. I tried during my previous trip thinking that i had memorised the roads/maps well, but dont really help. Hahahaha
