Best is you book online first if you are getting on those peak periods, this will save you the worries of not able to grab the seats. But do note that you still need to go to counter to get boarding pass before boarding.
Also online booking will be able to book 5he return dates but walk-in can't. Walk-ins only able to get exiting Singapore if you are in Singapore now or exiting batam if you are in Batam now.
As per your 2nd paragraph can walk-in from SG right? Also can walk-in for return. Dates confirm but not sure about timing so asking. Just hold the passport Nd vaccinated cert, right?
I've went to Batam twice between May and June, both departure from Tanah Merah. Currently I'm still at Tg Balai since arrival on June 16, may stay here until June 26. Base on my latest experience, all you need is hard copy of vaccine cert and the Pedulindungi App ( in fact Indonesia authority does not check the app, only the staff at Sindo Ferry counter check the app). It is as easier as pre-covid era to enter Indonesia now, unlike the time when I went to Batam on May which still require to take pre-departure ART and on June 1 which still require travel insurance. Now just download Pedulindungi from Google and print a copy of vaccine cert will do.
Now that harbour bay is open, u guys can easily book gojek or grab from the carpark outside Marriott Hotel. there is a green stand showing Gojek for people who want to take grab/gojek instead of local taxi.

True about the stand but the stand do not appear in the app the last I tried. Able to select Marriott lobby but did not indicate is the one 9n top or below near the Starbucks. Ended up the car went upstairs while I was below waiting even though I took a picture and sent with the app showing I was downstairs....

Yes return can walk-in too at Batam, but they won't give you boarding pass until u showed proof of completing the SG arrival card which must be within 3 days of return trip

I am planning a trip to Batam this August with 3 more friends. I have planning to book a villa and we got a room each, hoping to get a girl (outcall) each for massage and more.

But for WeChat, u might need to do a Scan Nearby first but also no need to add, after that they will message you. Cons is you can't confirm if the pic and person us real and it will be based on your location which if you are at those outskirts area, might not be that good. Never tried before at those area so maybe other bros might want to highlight. MiChat is better in this sense is that you can spoof your location but not for Wechat

Actually, whenever I have tried WeChat in Nagoya I have never found a girl I would have welcomed to my room (with one notable exception, who was not a working girl). All girls were not looking as in the pic, older, rushy, sleazy, trying to exploit me for more money. One thing is meeting that person in a cafe, to talk before maybe going to hotel. Another is having someone rude and not pleasant in a room in a resort. You will get rid of that person only after giving a lot of money.
To be honest, I would not recommend to have such holidays in a resort, unless I know the girl before and I purposely invite her there.
