Ok lah, a decent performance from Pool. Not many chances at both ends. Think Jones did quite well. Sterling ought to have done better to that 2 or 3 crosses to Borini who didnt have much to show for.

Watching the game I worry for this thursday's Europa 1st leg match. It looks like BR is not interested in the Europa Cup.

It ended 0-0.

Towards the end we should have won if Sterling crossed well to Borini who was open.

Allen is an improvement from what we have so I would say sell 1 or 2 central midfielders. Adam and Spearing have been trying so far pre season but still not a fan of either.

Carroll has to stay, consider selling him if he doesn't have a productive season. Even against Spurs, his presence alone unsettled their defence a few times.

Liverpool need to sell some players in order to buy new players. They had overspend last season under King Kenny.

Not sure if the report from BBC is true to what extent, but as long as Aquilani doesn't sign on the dotted lines, he still remains as a Liverpool player.

Would love to see him given the opportunity to prove himself under a new manager, along with Joe Cole.

i am more concerned about skytel! Our center back is always an issue the last two seasons!Agger also not yet sign extension right?I think we need at least another decent striker! Carrol's style is more suitable to team like wilmerdon and sunderland! More like a ruby style of playing!

I've heard rumours that Man City and Barcelona are keen to sign Agger, with a fee around £13 million. Of course I'm hoping all these are just pure rumours, because Skrtel and Agger are key players.

Just heard news that Liverpool have agreed to loan Andy Carroll to West Ham for the whole of next season for £2m. West Ham will pay Carroll's wages in full and have the option to buy him for £17m if they manage to avoid relegation.
