hi bro enter-raw! not an expert on GZ scene and can't recommend anything but can tell what not to do..this was related by a friend who went there 2 months ago...

what not to do is to ask taxi for kang tao...he was there for a business meeting and at night wandered the street looking, almost give up, he hop on a cab and happen to ask the cab driver whether got sauna type joints with 'one dragon' service...

cab brought him to this place (he can't remember the place but glanced its a small hotel 'Guangzhou Hotel') banana chinese singaporean so chinese not very good...

was told that full service was RMB800 for 2 hours and was brought into a ktv room, the pimp said the sauna rooms were all busy and had to wait for 25mins...brought a selection of girls to choose first and he chose 1...the room was free and the girl will accompany him and count down will not happen until they go into sauna room for action...

while waiting, girl say thirsty and order beer 6 cans for RMB200, say part of the beer is to bring into the room to perform some action so he readily agreed...after that she ordered some soft drinks and say its quite cheap so don't worry...then she said she check whether room is ready and will ask manager of the ktv room to settle the bill for the beer and soft drinks...

after that 2 gangster looking guys come in and counted the bill, say came up to RMB3500 for the soft drinks! plus the beer its RMB4000 (plus the fruits and nuts)....

needless to say, they demand he settle the bill and no matter how he protest also no use, in the end told them he will give all the cash in the wallet but refuse to swipe credit card...after all the cash emptied, he quickly left the place....not sure how much was the damage, if i remember he gave more than RMB2000 in all...plus no action...

so beware guys....i think HCM not as bad after all with such con as China....

Can kindly explain how will a CDMA network have 3G services?

If you live in China, you will know the speed difference when surfing net using your mobile on CMCC, China Tele and China Unicom... Even the locals living here know..

i'm using a china telecom 3G service with CDMA network so my phone is a CDMA phone. only unicom is using GSM 3G.


if i'm not wrong, japan is also using CDMA network.

Was at Guo Hui and 18 Palace a few weeks ago, Guo Hui is so expensive me an one friend ended with a liquor bill of 7k rmb and about 3k rmb for the dj, waiter and managers fees then we both had 2 girls each took one home so at the end of the night total bill came to around 20k rmb, I got to say the girls are quite good looking but it's way overpriced. The girl i took back looked like chinese actress li xiao lu 李小璐, later on she told me she spent quite alot of money having plastic surgery done to her eyes, nose and chin pretty extreme but this was all paid by someone who was sponsoring her in the past.

As with 18 Palace it's slightly downscale in comparison to Guo Hui but still really expensive.
