The only way to change is to have multi parties system in Singapore or at least 1/3 in opposition hands. Only thru this route, unpopular policies can be tackled or looked at a different perspective liked through the social point of views instead always at profit line! For example rising cost to transport, please read the annual reports of SMRT, SBS and ConfortDelgro! Make so much $$ after PAP gov making them listed in the stock exchange!

Even dragged their feet to install safety barriers on open MRT stations!

PAP hoped to blind us by bluffing us about their plot to keep them in power or having majority in parliament! They even created jokes belittling the GE with films such as Money not enough, Tax rebates etc, why, election coming!

This is not laughing matter as PAP hoped that blind sheeps will keep voting them! But I am glad that more people are wiser up and that is why so many India Ah nehs & China Chinese becoming citizens to shore up votes for PAP!

if the bus don't increase fare, how would the bus company give a salary increase to the drivers? if the drivers don't have higher pay, how does he pay for the higher food price in hawker centre? if the hawker don't increase his bowl of noodles soup, how he pay for the new bus fares?

don't blame on govt, this and that. ask yourself why are you still standing still and don't make better use of yourself or the money u have. enough motivation and investment brochures on how to use money to make money. if you are not risk adverse, then reflect how u can improve as a person and make urself useful to earn more money.

Singaporeans are already working very hard and surveys had shown Singaporeans work one of the longest hours each week. But Singaporeans are feeling like Africans. No matter how hard they slog, opportunities are far and few and money is not much. Why only foreigners know how to enjoy themselves ? Singaporeans work hard is one separate issue. It still does not take away New PAP growing incompetencies and greedy policies. Shit still happens and PAP government is making one too many silly mistakes.

What does shareholders of SMRT and SBS do besides collecting dividends? What is the duty of shareholders? As shareholder, they are suppose to inject capital but the money come from taxpayers instead. $900 million to buy new buses and $1.1 billion to repair trains come from taxpayers. Taxpayers paid for the first batch of trains, paid for train stations, roads, bus interchanges, train tracks. All the capital injection came from taxpayers. What did the shareholders of SMRT and SBS paid for ??
