Hey FGG – I of course recognize that I am probably the catalyst for so much of the crap that’s being posted on this thread.

I ain't proud that I do have so many detractors as I've never set out to antagonize anybody and only ever want to share whatever information/insight I may have.

At first I couldn’t understand why anyone would object to anybody just wanting to share/care, but I now figure/ guess that by just doing so, I had managed to accidentally step on some parties here who's interest and agenda lies elsewhere.

Further to my earlier post about Chang Ping Hotels and since I have received multiple PM/Email etc. for further clarification….

This is what I have been told happens when the GA visits a hotel in Chang Ping. They would first go through the hotel register and note down certain rooms occupied by a single male. I don’t know how and why they chose some names and not others, but I was told that they had their own profiling methods.

Then they would review the RECENT CCTV video footage of the view of the hallways on certain floors and then go up to knock at some of the doors on the floor viewed. After explaining this, my friend suggest that the best way to lessen the problem would be to for sure check in your lady companion; in fact, if you do not want to unduly attract attention, you should just let that name remain on the hotel register.

This is of course unless you have close relations with the hotel managers/front desk and they would take the trouble to help you out to totally “clean-up your trail.” But since this is probably not the usual case, then just let that name remain on the register as the GA checking the video footage for only the past hour so would not really have the means to figure out if the lady knocking on the door is the one registered or another one. This is of course not absolute as they of course can view the video footage of when the first friend showed up, but according to my friend, they’ve never asked to so view and opines it’s just too much trouble when there ARE so many easier guests to target.

And please do note that the recent yanda’s main target is prostitution and not just adultery which happens in abundance in China and of course more a moral issue than a crime.

Anyway, just IMHO and what I learned from somebody whose interest it is in filling up hotel rooms. And of course no absolutes/Caveat bloody Emptor!
