This was something that I dare not utter, though it is still a possibility.

If tonight ends in another defeat, which will crush confidence considerably, then I don't think there will be enough time for them to turn things around for the semi against Everton.

I really just want the team to perform well, and the players to give their all. And of course, KD to get his line-up and tactics right. Newcastle always seems to lose big, so please grant them this tonight.

My beer and chips are ready, and hope the team is too..

Former Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia has been placed in temporary charge of Bayer Leverkusen.
Hyypia will work alongside U19 coach Sascha Lewandowski until the end of the season following the dismissal of Robin Dutt after a fifth straight defeat.
Leverkusen currently lie sixth in the Bundesliga table and are fighting to secure a Europa League place for next season.

Good Luck, Sami.... A true legend...

Hope to see you back to Liverpool one day... YNWA

He needs a lesson from Hamann on how to make the ball stick. The man was a monster. You don't need height or size as a holding mid - some of the holding mids in the league now and in the past aren't that big.

Craig Bellamy returns to the Liverpool starting XI for today's clash with Newcastle United - listen to the game live online from 1pm BST.The Wales forward figures for the first time since the Reds' trip to Sunderland on March 10 following injury.
There are also starts for Andy Carroll and Jonjo Shelvey at the Sports Direct Arena as Kenny Dalglish makes three changes.
Liverpool: Reina, Flanagan, Carragher, Skrtel, Enrique, Gerrard, Spearing, Shelvey, Bellamy, Carroll, Suarez. Subs: Doni, Aurelio, Maxi, Henderson, Coates, Kuyt, Downing.

No worry... It's just rumour.....

Great to see Jonjo finally given a start... and oso young Flanagan playing too...

Mouth watering to see Bellamy, Carroll, Gerrard and Suarez all starting together...

But thot Enrique will be rested, as he looked jaded recently..

Surprised, I think this is one of the most attacking line-up for an away game this season.

I think KD rather have Enrique against Ben Arfa then have Aurelio, he's been out too long.

Go boys! Outscore them!

Jonjo is a monster all right... but hope he is not shunted out to the right and played out of position..

tat's my initial worry at my 1st look of the lineup too...

if KD's playing 4-2-3-1, then Bellamy and Suarez may b on the flanks with Jonjo playing in the centre...
but if Kenny go for 2 front man in Suarez n Carroll, then Jonjo may be pushed wide...

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

so glad to see Bellamy starting again! and nice to see Shelvey given a rare start. looks like a 4-3-3 formation for me, Gerrard Spearing and Shelvey in the midfield 3 with Caroll Suarez and Bellamy up front.

Why did Carroll dive?

Why did Carroll dive?
He should have just round the keeper and not do such a disgraceful act where millions of ppl are watching the replays.

Anyway quite even Steven in the 1st 10 min or so..didn't see CB performing yet ..
