I dun understand? What extra charges did you incur? I have used my Citibank card there and it was as per normal..... no extras were added and the exchange conversion was better rate than the moneychangers.

What 7% service fees you talking about?
You think NZ in Malaysia got charge GST like SG?

RM 238 is nett price. No more additional charges.
I always pay by CC there, save me the hassle to exchg curr everytime I go.
After bank forex conversion by CC, amt is less than SGD 100

cause i rarely carry ringgit. so if i suddenly am found out with a stash of ringgit, chances are it will be suspicious.

so i can only pay by card. funny as it sounds, but it's true bro.

use a debit card, so you don't get a statement. or if use credit card, get e-statement so there is no hardcopy sent to your house.

no matter how lousy the rates are, it's still cheaper than bonking in sg.

yes some of them do charge the government tax of 6%. rare but there are such places.
