Me 180 @ 70kg leh, so seems like I under-weight liao? But I don't look under-weight leh...
I know muscles weigh much denser than fats... so maybe that's why?

Hmm...always wanted to BB but just plain lazy with no motivation at all, although it seems nice to have. What should I do to start? Just buy protein powder mix and start pumping in a gym?

Lol, so literal.

I'm currently sitting at about 9% body fat last caliper test, which is a little low.

The sport I play is Rugby and I am a winger. Also, genetically I am predisposed to gaining more muscle mass than your average person as I am half polynesian and half European.

I know that Asians tend to have a lighter and smaller skeletal frame but are more flexible, but man after traveling through the north of China I saw a lot of big people out there!!

'attraction' huh.....hmmm....let's see.....i'm an old man...not rich and yet not too poor... has grey hair more than knowledge in my grey matter....i have mastered the art of 'converting' my 6-packs to one solid pack after years of practising almost nightly the art of beer guzzling (takes a lot of self-discipline ok? )....and the last time i went anywhere near a beach was when i drove past the east coast park expressway.

Thanks! Although I would say, older men do know how to treat girls well (most of the time, at least). The younger ones (no offense intended - it's just a statement of my observations) don't seem to know what entails being a "gentleman"

Nonetheless, whatever the reason for this passion is of secondary importance. The thing to note is the amount of time and dedication those elite bodybuilders are willing to sacrifice for their passion. At least these people have something which they are truly passionate about, and they are prepared to devote their lives to it. In other fields, we witness athletes, martial art practitioners, musicians, political activists and so forth dedicate their lives to something which they are highly passionate about. Seriously, I really take my hat off such people and at times envy them. Life becomes truly meaningful only when you are truly passionate about something. How many people living on this earth have found something they are really passionate about, and are pursuing it? Most people are just passing their lives day by day, without knowing what they really want in life.

Beyond those “gleaming ripped muscles” I see years of dedication, hard work, and discipline in the weight room which is something for me to learn from. “Throwing light insults their [bodybuilders’] way that suggests even the slightest imperfections in them” to unravel a “a hideous orc-like creature who will stoop to anything, insults, coercion what-have-you in an attempt beat u into submission” – why would you want to do that? To make yourself feel better by putting others down? C’mon...

The fact is, a significant number of guys in this forum are insecure and/or immature. It's a very Singaporean disposition.

Whenever anyone displays their wealth, or demonstrates they are better off in any manner e.g. muscular, good looking, the bashing automatically starts. Its a knee jerk reaction.

Granted, it may not be in good taste to flaunt, but the statements made often have nothing to do with the issue at hand - but rather because they felt their ego was trampled on - intentional or otherwise.

That being said - I don't think the TS is a bodybuilder in the first place.

Totally agree with you! but then really got to depends. some guys are born and raise up to be gentleman. but to be honest, too gentleman is also a turn off for me. i still prefer a nice gentleman with a sense of humour.
