Yes, actually there is no need to mention this “ID thing”, first, most of them carry ID with them all the time, as they may need to use it in their daily life. Also, high chance that hotel won’t check her ID if she came in together with you and acted like a friend to you. Should let the thing flow naturally.

The hotel staff mention she must bring ID and it's stated on their counter also. She also mention she don't bring ID usually. But the fact she din mention anything when I first mention bring ID , perhaps I should have taken she understood something maybe ?

Yes you are not wrong, the hotel staff will always say all the visitors need to register at counter because of the local regulations. But the truth is most of the time, they will just close one eye and let people in and out freely, as long as they have the key card. So far I only kena one time, they asked the girl to register as she came in dressed like a cosplayer.

As for the girl you met, I think at the moment when you invited her to your hotel, she got your intention already. If she didn’t say “no” at the moment, means she is ok with it. But this “bring your ID” thing hurts her pride, especially you mentioned it twice, makes her feel “cheap” or “easy to get”.
