Info on Manado, indonesia
searched a bit, and barely found much on Manado. planning on going there in late June for some scuba diving during the day and hope to get some fun diving at night as well. any seniors can share some info regarding MP, bars, FL? Thanks in advance.

Where are Ha-ha, Corner, GP's cafe? Is it located in those diver's resorts?
Well, I've been there early last year for a business trip, stayed in the town area. Was there only for 1 nite and it was really disappointing. Remember that there's only 1 big shopping mall and very few night clubs around. After dinner in the shopping mall, my supplier took us to a Karaoke, it was very dark when we enter, cannot see much (even though I'm disco trained). Then the captain brought us to the KTV room which is really run down. Can see microphone cables laying everywhere, old and torn sofas, and worst of all, the fucking KTV room smells like xxx!!!???. Then I decided that this is not my kind of place and I asked to see their girls, thinking that if they have some nice ones we could just book and bring them elsewhere for party. The moment the girls came in, I had the shock of my life, instead of those nice and sexy Manado's girls which we often heard/knew of, those we saw was like baby elephants. I instantly got everyone to walk out of that place. I told my supplier that if that's what the KTV's girls there are like, please take us to a disco (was thinking of hunting for the FLs). He took us to a club, where the 1st and 2nd floor is a Pool hall, and 3rd is a club with live band. We had a few games of pool before hitting for the club around 10pm. Place was ok, band was ok, but no FLs. I thought, the next best thing to do is to just get drunk so that it'll be easy to go to sleep when back in the hotel.  Was on the next 1st 7am flight out of Manado, arriving in action packed Jkt after some 2 hours of flight.

Was in manado sometime early last year. Hotel driver organised some Uni girls for us. very young and pretty manado girls..about S150 overnight. or you can try the club at the large hotel in town...lots of uni girls and available there but u have to approach carefully. hope that helps.

Good to learn that you had fun, which hotel did you stay in huh? So maybe next time when there again can try my luck. The large hotel, are you refering to Puri Garden hotel?

yeah the grand puri. the Uni girls are shy and do not want to 'advertise' that they are available. i dont think they want other uni grads to know what they are doing on the side. They usually go thru middlemen..usually hotel contacts. Go thru the doormen at the hotel. good luck
