News flash : I just got scammed in Manila
This just happened a few minutes ago at the hotel which I am staying in.
I met a gal in skout and after seeing her pictures, agreed to let her come to my room. All the tell tale signs were there that she's a working lady but me being a Sillyporean and nothing to do, gave her room number and name. Fast forward, she arrived. Boom! Not the same person and with her transsexual friend. Mistake #2, I still let them in. WTF! I must be really an idiot. I thought just let them in have a drink and send them off and this is the biggest mistake! She and her friend refuse to leave and wanted me to pay them for their "damages". I gave them 300 pesos but they refused and wanted 3000 pesos which I obviously refused too. She threatened to call the police and her friends which I encouraged her to do so and at the same time I called the hotel security to come up. Fast forward, I gave both the gals 800 pesos and the security officers escorted them out. I know that I could probably get away without paying a single pesos but I just wanted to end this ordeal quickly. The sight of the transsexual is unbearable. A few takeaways . . . 1. Beware of gals known thru web sites and especially when they offered to visit u at unearthly hours. Well unless if u are some rock star or u hit the jackpot. 2. Refuse entry to the lady if she is not what you have seen. 3. Stay calm and do not panic if you know that you re in the right. The above helps that I am staying in a 4 stars hotel and I can only imagine if I had stayed in one of those budget hotels. I am an experienced traveller but I guess that being alone for far too long gets to me and I thought I was good looking . . . Lol. I still believe in chanced encounters because I has them before and this is just a one off as I took my guard off. So guys, have fun but beware . . . I would for sure. Good Morning . . . Singapore. |

Re: News flash : I just got scammed in Manila
My SOP when I meet any girls from Skout, DIA or tagged or what so ever, always arrange to meet in a place where there are plenty of people. I pretty like to meet at a mall maybe 5-10min walk away from my hotel.
If she is lousy or scam, I still can have my starbucks and go back hotel a short walk away (In case she start to follow or blackmail me for $). |
