was told that few days that upper thomson and tg pagar raided. Any bro can confirm. just been to yishun 7xx to buy something, the shop very close to the 24 hrs supermarket was not open.

anyway,me also heard ICA & SPF also go 2 waterloo street temples 2 catch some overstayers in SG.
They were seen stationed at the exit of the temple 2 check on those worshippers leaving the temple.Only random checks on foreigners.

Well most of these shops have what they call a "Da Por Kung" (my chinese sux.. so i might have got it wrong).

They are usually 50+ old men. what the real operators do is to get these people to register the business and also rent the place. and in turn they will be compensated in a monthly basis. typically they get paid like 5-10K for the first month and then about 500-800 montly afterwards.

These people are so old they cant really lug them to jail, so the worse case when shop gets busted is that they pay a fine, which the real operator will pay anyway. so to these old men, they are just getting a somewhat monthly income.

and there are heaps of these 50+ old men in geylang waiting for some smart operator to offer them such a deal.
