If you happened to be a newly wed couple or a couple who have applied for a HDB or Condo flat, don't go there when under construction.

I was told by someone that the workers there once rape the woman while they go n see how is their flat look like. They cannot report police as they considering entering a restricted area!!!

Try entering army camp during the night and see you will be kill if you not suppose to be there and walk ard like your father place.

Already restricted area and you will bare all consequence happened to you. If rape wasn't take place but they were killed by objects over there, I doubt insurance company also willing to pay plus the construction company also need not to bare any cause.

Army old says : do whatever you want, don't get caught!

PS : Those don't believe can go n give it a try. Bring your love one there and got rape and then report police. Then come back here to feedback whether it is a case or not.

being on the wrong side of the law does not condone the more serious crime... at most the couple get charged for trespassing the worksite, at most fine or at most jail for a couple of days... worst case scenario, just bcos the hubby took a sample of the tile, at most charged for petty theft. shouldnt be more than a month's jail. i agree with u that the insurance companies might not pay out the term insurance in the event that the couple meet with any demise or injury. but rape is still a crime. unless u r telling me that restricted areas r not under the jurisdiction of SG govt law.

I've been in the construction industries for quite some time. Although, most sites are haul up and restricted signages are posted everywhere. pple still tresspass. These sign more or less act only as a deterant. The site is still govern by SG law and any crimes/offences committed in these premises are still punishable by SG law. But for accidents that happen within the site due to tresspassing (ex falling into trenches), it is argueable by the construction company and their insurance policy. Usually, we will purchase workmen's comp and public liability policy to cover the site. As for army camps, tresspasser will be handed over the police, and although the army has their own Military police, SG law still applies in the premises. btw, after 2.5 yrs of NS, i doubt any of u would want to tresspass into a army camp.

And to add on, NB never seen such a chio bui on site before leh.

So when those WL go construction site at night the construction workers just bang no need give money cos they in restricted zone and were asking for it? Just a thought...
