These Abrahamic religions have caused more pain to all of mankind than any others. What is interesting is that the are similar in so many ways such as food, custom and both are sons of Abraham and both semitics.
So what is the cost. Here are some trivia on how these 2 religions have disrupted our lives and we pay more for nearly everything.
- notice dustbins are no longer common nearly all over the world. They are known receptacles for bombs.
- try taking a plane with a 150 ml toothpaste in your hand luggage
- body searches and scanners not only at airports but at major events, concerts and gatherings
- trying opening a new bank account in a new country when you won a scholarship to study overseas
- try queueing up behind a muslim or Israeli citizen at immigration checkpoints - wait long long
