Vehicle Entry charge : RM20
Quote:
" Malaysia on Wednesday announced that it will charge drivers of all foreign vehicles entering Johor Baru, following a request from the state. Johor Chief Minister Mohamed Khaled Nordin had said the Johor government suggested a VEP charge of RM20 (S$7.80), with RM5 going to the state government for road maintenance, for Singapore vehicles entering Malaysia through the Causeway and the Second Link." Wishing all a nice weekend. Cheers. PS - Bus is a good alternative.

Re: No more cheonging in JB
Don't quote me but johor works a little differently. Federal govt may pass the ruling but it is subjected to state to adopt it. Depends on the ruler to agree or not.

Re: No more cheonging in JB
Heard the news that the entry fee to msia will be effective from 1 Aug which is rm20.
Actually rm 20 is considered as super cheap when compared to spore side that charged S$35 = rm90. In fact it is actually good news for both side to increase the entry fee so that the causeway will not be too jam and people who take public transport like bus will not suffer. |
