An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
knn, cham leow .....robot taxi cars coming ...... don't need taxi drivers soon. Better fight very very hard for your CPF money today. And fight very hard to get rid of fake FTs. Its now or never. Uber, the upstart tech company currently disrupting the taxi industry around the world by recruiting thousands of freelance chauffeurs, is predicting that the future of transport may see an end to the era of car ownership. At a tech conference in California this week, the private car booking app's chief executive Travis Kalanick confirmed his team is gunning for a driverless future. "The reason Uber could be expensive is because you're not just paying for the car, you're paying for the other dude in the car," Kalanick said. "So the magic there is you basically bring the cost below the cost of ownership for everybody, and then car ownership goes away."
