Mom friend(Susan)

It happen sometime 15 yrs ago:

Our house use to be a private mess (actually provide only one type of card game), the old people say’ big word’ in hokkien. Is quite a profitable business (of course is illegal).

The whole concept of the business is, every game each person will be issue $200 dollar chip; straight away $3 will go to the ‘HOUSE’. Once any one $200 chip used up next game will start. One game average will have about 15 persons, sometime weekend can go up to 20-25 persons, average about 10 to 12 game per days. So bro’s out there can consider this as a business (bare in mind this is illegal ok). The ‘HOUSE’ have to provide basic thing like drinks (tea or coffee), plus one dinner, sometime supper if the game stretch in mid night.

This card game usually played by old lady (age 50+), the customers at our place is 99% old lady. Because is illegal, so all ‘kaki’ is regular, or intro through friends. Once in a while you get younger lady join the game. Dun ask me how the game played, I also not sure, maybe some bro out there know.

After intro of the whole background, here I about to start my legacy with my mom friend’s. So some time 15yrs ago, about 1990, I just completed my ploy course waiting for enlistment, I was very free, always hang around at home. As I just get my driving license, my mom will ask me to pick up so and so at where as an extra services to them.
So I get the chance to make with all this old aunty all cannot make it want.

Until one fine day(Saturday) if not wrong, as usual I was asked to pick up aunty Peng(she is not the main actress of this post) at the MRT near my house. So when I reached there another lady that caught my attention.

Name : Susan (not real name to protect the innocent)
Age: 30+
Look: Quite fair skin, with big eye, one thing I dun like is she smoke
Body : 33,26,30

She wear a sleeveless round collar t-shirt with a jeans. Wearing a sunglass, those big type(very IN at that time), I myself wearing Ray band sun glass( Tom Cruise wear in TOP GUN type). She is quite pretty I would say.

After stopping my car, Ah Peng aunty open the door;

‘Di ah, this is Susan, my niece!’ said Ah Peng,
‘Hello! I am Ah meng’ I replied, than my 1st conversation with her started,
‘Ah meng, not working today, thank you for giving us a lift’ say Susan in very sweet tone.
‘No, waiting for enlistment.This is our services to you all, anything just feel free to ask’, I replied, sound like old bird.
No more conversation for the rest of the journey, which is about 10min drive.
Bro, need to go buy lunch, will be back soon

Once we reached our house, they alike and went straight into the house, Ah Peng aunty is those ‘Gambling ghost’, Susan still bother to say ‘thank you, meng’. She really someone special as all costumers is like Ah peng aunty, scare loss too late.

The rest of the day I just hang around, play computer, read comic. Sometime I also help them to buy cigarettes. They some time will give tips (balance money). So Susan ran out of cigarettes, so I was asked by my mom to buy for her, she smoke’ CONSULATE’ if not wrong. She hand over to me $10, after 10min, I come back pass her the pack of cigarette and the money, $4/= I give her at the same time touch her hand, some soft and very smooth. She of course dun knows I am eating her ‘dou fu’ la, she even say thank you and tips me the $4/=. Wa liao the most gender customer I ever met.

So I get more interested in Susan, not those feeling that want to ‘eat’ her just want to know more about her. So nothing much on that day, Think of giving her a lift to MRT after she finish the gamble but to bad Ah Peng aunty say take taxi as it is quite late already, lan lan go and sleep la.

So for the next few week Susan become regular customer at our place, but she only turn out on weekend. So when weekend come, I will be quite helpful, go in and ask them need any drink or buy cigarettes, just to have a look at her. Once I even see through her shirt button, saw her bra, red color one, wu that nice. I even over heard that her hubby was over sea at Batam for some business. Some aunties warm her be careful he go ‘run lion’,
She say we woman sometime have to close one eye open one eye la, as long they don take problem back home. So open minded lady.

So it happen at that weekend, every thing is usual, is about 1130pm, the game ended and suddenly it started to rain heavily. Ah Peng aunty say; ‘wa liao, loss already still get caught in the rain, my mom that order me to give them a lift, I say yes at once, bring the key and umbrella, Ah Peng and Susan ran into my car, I ask them where to sent them, Ah Peng aunty say Yishun than Toa Payoh, I was very happy as Ah peng staying at Yishun that mean I can be with Susan for the rest of the journey. So no conversation until Yishun, once Ah Peng drop off, can feel that the car atmosphere is more lively, she kick of the conversation;

‘Meng, when you enlist’ said Susan,
‘September, exactly two month from now’, I replied.
‘So your girl friend will be very sat la’, she claim
‘No la, where got girl friend.’ I replied,

So our conversation continue for the whole journey, nothing much la. So when reached her place at Toa Payoh, as it still raining, I offer to give her a lift with my umbrella, so I drop off my car go to her car door open and she come out of the car, she actually put her hand around my shoulder so that we can be totally under one shelter, her move shock me.
After we reach the lift, she asked me want to go up to have a cup of coffee…………..

dear bros, I remember my first PC was back in 1990 was an IBM AT386 competiable cost only 1k plus... apple 64K com was already history then...

Hi Bro,

Agree with u, Apple were very popular back in the eighties, especially 83 & 84, at that time, there were Lingo 128, Cubic 99 & etc.

286 was late eighties.

Bro, maybe to have some computer history to tell you all,
that time 1990 IBM is not much people using already.
in fact, 286Mhz system is more will know,
than 386 xt or 386 at
than 486 at
than come our pentiumn system, ok
but 1 set of 286 system is about $2k plus not cheap really.
aslo all our drive using is remote one(not build in)
Hard disk is only 8M or 16M type, mainly we use 5and 1/4 disk la
and the system is still run under 'DOS' version
