A Wine Bar with PRCs

YO ho all samsters,
I've got a discreet place in town, meant to set up as a wine bar.
Thinking of adding spice into the place, thought of inviting prcs as guests, and drinking companions .
How's the idea like bros??
Would luv to hear your views on this...

PRCs drink wine with ice!. Had quite an experience in China recently to see that its normal to have 'wine on the rocks'. Imagine a nice glass of Chateau La Tour or Lafite with ice!.

Good but must have parking hor...and easy access hor...I will be your customer dying to find a place like this to hang out....

You can take LM in Geylang..good and discreet place to drink..

To Brothers:

Mamboking
First, A winebar and not a beer garden, pub, or KTV, cuz I'm aiming for the in-between spending power customers(quite a sizable market).
Beer as jugs range from $20-$40 in certain pubs w/o PRCs.
Wine perhaps range from $50-$200( My intended Winebar).
Brandy, Whisky in KTVs w/o PRCs range easily from $250-$400 onwards...

Second, managed to find a set up with low cost, low reno costs, to run as a simple layman kinda winebar, definitely not the top end niche, but the lower end...

Thanks for the input on chinese wine; in fact I do have a source on dat, juz contemplating to bring it in...main draw iz low costs , consignment, taste iz errr bland as in wine...(probably shevle diz idea)

No worries, mate. I drink all sorts of wines, believe me there are some gems out there waiting to be discovered. Alas, when that happens, i would not be able to enjoy them at their old, low prices anymore. Wine bars of your business model, can be found around the dempsey area, minus of course, the PRCs. The wines served there are the daily drinking ones from Spain, South Africa and Australia, just to name a few. Check these out and you will roughly know the kind of competitors you are up against. Keep us posted when you open yours. Having PRCs around is a novelty and may just be the thing to draw in the crowds. Cheers.

Any firm idea so far what would be the duties of the PRC gals ? Are they acting as waitresses, companions, touch/no touch ? ?

Anyway idea seems to be a good one. I think it would surely be a crowd puller so some duration before the novelty wears off. Then you would have to think so something new again.

Let me first apologise in advance if my opinions and views may not be what you want to hear.

I think you need to be careful with the image of your winebar and how you want to project it. And frankly, there is something very wrong when I try to picture PRC ladies + wine in my head.

I'm not trying to be a snob or anything but you probably need to invest in a little bit of 'training' so that the drinking partners are knowledgable or at least can appreciate wine. And you can't fake this sort of things unlike beers, brandy or whiskeys. I mean the way you hold the wine glass can already give you away!

I think wine drinking is an art. And while I do drink a little for some time now, I will only describe myself as a causal wine drinker; and not really very knowledgable unlike bro deltaboy55

From my prospective, what I like will probably not be PRC ladies as drinking companion. The level of sophistication probably need to be a little higher. I really cannot imagine drinking wine and talking in Chinese. Dun ask me why. So I think at the very least, you need your gers to be able to carry out a conversation in English.

How U want to invite PRCs? Difficult unless U pay them. Good quality PRC will only cum if the reward is high. earning per gal per night should not be less than $200 (basic plus commission)
