There are many cheap hotel (relative price) in SG. Just depend on whats your intent. If its for family with kids, then avid places like Geylang and Joo Chiat. Vice versa. There are some near Vivocity, Bugis, even Balestier, Changi, West Coast etc. The price should be between $100 to $200.

Go H81 at Bugis.. if friends from overseas like to get their families to stay there.

bro.. i can tell u a place which is less than 70.. it is at simpang bedok above botak jones. if u still unsure, u can ask those ppl there.. and i think u have to book in advance as it is quite hot there.. tend to full house almost every day.

Hey man, I've stayed in a backpacker hostel at no. 15 upper weld road last month. Name called Bunc Hostel. State of the art facilities with free breakfast. Its as if I'm staying at a boutique hotel. Only $30 per night. Cool!

Its a backpacker hostel, so the concept is to share the the room with a few ppl. I got to share my room with 2 ladies from Germany, damn lucky! Haha. Beds and covers are superbly comfy, better than my own house bed.

Sorry, I have some fantacy about the backpacker hostel.

What if I'm snooring during sleeping? will they complaint?

Yes, most packpackers dun allow locals to stay as they want to preserve the true backpacker culture. But the one I'm staying at allows because they are huge, biggest in Singapore, where got so many backpackers to stay everyday! Haha. So I think they trying to blend in the concept together.
