To all the single and "love to be single" people out there, what's your ideal sex life like?

In the past I was thinking the ideal sex life would be to have a FB or a friend with extra benefits. No commitment and it fulfills a need . So I looked really long for a FB. But when I really got one, it was kind of different from what I imagined. My self esteem goes down a notch, it wasn't really on a non-commitment basis even though it was agreed upon and there was a whole lot of emotional bullshit. So I'm not sure if having a FB is for me.
