sorry sis, unless you have an external internet link which is not from singapore. all internet traffic pass thru our dear sillypore proxy so no go if they ban there. unless you can vpn out of singapore and use an external like "truly asia" gateway or something

u see, hide my ass dot com uses Teh Non Silly pore proxy macam "truly asia" gateway to make the MDA think u not internet from singapore so.... it ultilises the VPN and the ISPs and the MDAs to ....

If you use a web proxy.. the free version of http://www.hidemyass.com, then performance is not great and service can be unstable.

If you always need to by-pass sillypore's Internet filters (so much for freedom of information), then the better choice would be using a Virtual Private Network (VPN).

I'm using the paid VPN service of hidemyass.com as I am in China. But there are free alternatives. I liked AnchorFree's Hotspot Shield VPN. Been using for a while until I needed some additional features. For most purposes, it will work fine. Check it out and download the small client software :

Teh MDA wanted to ruin my veedio watching... but luckily with OVER 9000 year of training..... even with free hidemyass.com i still download what i want... when i want... as i want..

Use nttcomm, it's a bit more expensive, $128 per month, but no ban on sites. Better than paying thru another proxy, might end up costing more.
