Are you sure? ML hitting mosquito now. Really feel the diff from the last CB, before CB kick in, hairdresser, bubble tea shop, spa were all doing roaring business as people wanted a last go before shutdown.

But from yesterday onward really can see lesser crowd in most places. Sunday was unusually quiet too.

Went to a tcm place in the late afternoon after knocking off wfh, and the ML told me that biz is quite bad with people staying away, or maybe because of the compulsory trace-together now enforced. The boss was at the counter making sure the scanner beeps. Can feel the atmosphere a bit tense and moody.

I'd like to tell the ML to try to stay "positive" mindset - but that's the wrong word to use now!

Agreed. Thanks for all the sound advice here. I decided to be a good boi and abstain from all ECA activities at for these 2 weeks first. Will see how's the number of cases trend first before deciding if I should go release blue balls

Was thinking last week that east and northeast side very dangerous but west side shops still relatively safe, but this is no longer true now. Cases spring up all over the island, now reach jurong west pioneer area. Unlinked so no idea how suddenly cluster start appearing on other side of SG.

Somehow I dun think sticking to 1 place will reduce any risk in reality. Cos it's like a random curveball now.

A super popular spa that 100 visits a day might remain safe is all 100 customers are virus-free.

A very ulu spa that only sees 5 customers a day might be a dangerous spot if it so happens 1 of the 5 customers is a carrier/infected case

Just like I see the news... even a seafood restoran in Pulau Ubin can be visited by a Covid case.

So I feel it's really a matter of luck here. The only way to reduce risk is to totally abstain from all of these joints.

my regular MLs never wechat me...i supposed they are very busy lor... some other MLs I contact also like schedule quite packed sia.....can't get my slot

I kenna 5 times liao lo... but nvm la... let him go and find enough pple to zap me 1000 points lo... i no problem... but i abit sian to see knnbccb.. everytime also same thing.. he buay sian i see also sian.. nothing new to write... but the most bo ji thing is he always put other people nick in the comments

I msg my ML for a session. She said fully booked.
I was stunned.
Some MPs are doing well, some may not.

My usual joints had 50% less bookings in the past 2 weeks. My fav ML, like many, did very well in the past year. She made very good money and doesnt mind a break of 2-3 weeks to rest and recharge. Some of her colleagues are frightened and decline bookings I was told!
Some spa owners are scared too these days and would prefer a circuit breaker and the government help which comes along..

Can you imagine how many people visited these 2 popular malls over the 5 days? Easily 10,000 to 50,000. Hari Raya, a public holiday, is within these 5 days. To make matters worse, many go there to visit the new IKEA. Better lie low for now.

I will suggest having a regular private arrangement. Have a regular non-ML lady you can meet. It is better during these times.

This testing don’t make sense one. Assuming if you have 1+, you should quarantine all close contact and do 1 test every 7 days till it reaches 21 days. By testing immediately, quite high chance negative one but waste so much resources. Negative just give a fake impression that he/ she is ok for now. Doesn’t mean tomorrow, the next day etc won’t become +
