Part 10: New guy - Paul

It was a clear morning and everything felt just right. I woke up on time and bathed in the fragrance of Rose. "It is gonna be a good day" I told myself. 

When dressing up for work, I often think of what is appropriate and on 12 July 2011, a bustier and a mini skirt would be the best for that day. "Mr Chew is coming with his young IT executive for meeting. Boss would be lunching with them... And of course as his PA, I have to follow..." 

A brief introduction:
My boss is a family guy with 2 kids, rich, business minded, nice, tall and have a well maintained body for a 43 years old man. Mr Chew is a 35 years old sales consultant with a  good body shape plus a flare in speech who services our company account. After Mr Chew finished his presentation of the new development of the system, boss asked him for lunch. They walked off to my boss's office while Marcus (the young IT executive) pack up. We smiled at each other and engaged in small talks about our bosses.

Me: "I think Mr Chew is not difficult person to work with, right? He seems friendly to me"
Marcus: "He's alright but he favors female more... Especially pretty ones like you"

I blushed and said "Thank you" before I left the room. After couples of minutes, our bosses emerges from the office. I heard my boss mumbled before he closed the door behind him with Mr Chew by his side "Of course, can..."

Cut the story short...
Boss: "Jean, I need to go back home as Tris (his daughter) is having a high fever and Dolly (his wife) is not in town"
Me: "Sure, I will head back on my own."

Chew: "No problem, boss! You help me, I help you!" Turning his head toward my direction, "Lady, anyway Marcus is on half day leave so after this lunch he would go back from here so my 2 seaters car have a space for you. And I have another appointment at East so allow me to have the honor to send you."

I laughed at the sentence before I agreed. Waving bye to my boss and Marcus, we heading for the car in the carpark. While searching for the car, I realized that I left my phone at the restaurant.

Me: "Hey, I left my phone upstairs! I'll be back!"
I run off and heard Mr Chew shouting from a distance.... When I'm back, I was panting and sweating. Stepped into his Audi and closed the car's door.
Chew: "Found it?"
Me: "y....e....s" still panting for breathe
Chew took a piece of tissue and touched my forehead: "Here, wipe dry"
The touch sent my temperature higher and I was blushing in totally redness.
Me: "Oh.. Thanks!" Taking the tissue from him and smiled. After 1 minute, we were still in the carpark and I turned to him.

Me: "Are we going?"
Chew in his embarrassment said "Oh ya, busy looking at you and forget about driving! Haha... Oh by the way, your boss called me and ask if you could collect the report of the earlier presentation. But... Marcus had brought it back so my copy is at my place. You mind just coming by my place for a minute while I print the report for your boss?"
Me: "That's fine. My job scope too!"

With that, we drove back to his place at Novena. A nice small studio apartment with modern design. Sat at his swinging chair looking outside his window for views. Then suddenly...

"Fuck!"
I run over and saw he gotten inked onto his face and shirt while he changed his cartridge. Finding it amusing, I started laughing and he started to punish me by tickling me!

He sent me back to office after the report was printed. Nothing happens.

"Jean, you have delivery!" Shouted Aunty Mary from the reception.

Walked out and found a blue light box on the counter. Took it back and open it... It was a phone. Still figuring what's going on... ....

Message received "I do not wish to lose contact with Ms Sotong if you ever lose your phone. Two is a precaution." Immediately, I knew who is the gift from... Paul Chew!

Me: “I need a dress”
Paul: “I got it”

Wearing the fitting black dress and the beige heels with a touch of makeup and hairstyling by the professional, I felt like a princess. The dinner was a stand-up dinner. There was lots of mingling with business partners, own company’s staffs and bosses. Good wine and good food. After a long night, we drove off to a quiet place up some hill or park.

Paul: “You are beautiful. Thanks for the night!” He kissed gently on my cheeks.
I started to shy off when his warm hands came around my face and he cupped my face onto his. “I think I love you” with the sentence he kissed me on my lips and we began a tongue fight in his car. We kissed passionately for about 3 minutes before we slowed down, broke away and looked into each other’s’ eyes. His eyes are charming! His eyes speak a thousand words in silent. We immersed in the quiet admiration for each other before I broke the silent.

Me: “I like the way you kissed me.”
Paul: “I like the way you are. I like you in the blue dress 6 months ago when I saw you with Aaron for a meeting. I like the way you articulate and pointed out the weakness of the report during the meeting. I like your cheerful character and your frankness. I like you for who you are.”
He held my right hand with his left and asked “Will you be mine?” and my answer is “Yes~”.

With every start of relationship, be it friendship, buddies or lovers, it always pose a Question Mark (?) to the future. What will be … Paul and I?

The first 2 months was wonderful. Then on the 3rd, things are starting to look unclear and in doubt. Remember, there was one night where I was staying by his place and I chanced upon an used condom under his sofa. I was fearful to ask or clarify whether there's someone else.
