I took the bus from ZH to CP recently and it felt safe. I was told by a friendly fellow on the bus not to sit in the back(which I did because the bus was full) because several guys can hold you down and no one will know or see you being robbed. Better to sit somewhere towards the front. Fortunately, I didn't get robbed, but sat with several guys associated with the Outward Bound program.

not to be too overly paranoid - as generally the air-con long distance buses are ok - pretty safe in fact as hardly the bus will have less than half full. But of course be careful and loof after yr bags and yr wallet well - as pickpockets occur in every city.

as mentioned.. m,y bus ride was not that great.. not that there was fear of being robbed... but more on less than half the journey are on major expressway...

but maybe the route to CP is better.. im not sure...

Bro Banana, actually i havent heard from any SBf bros yet...2 of them will not be in town on those dates...can you provide some info please? Very much appreciated!! Will definitely post FR on my 3-4 targeted cheong cities ie. Macau, Zhuhai, Guangzhou & Guilin...

Bro,

Please confirm that this is accurate as I have been going to CP from Zhuhai via Xiang Zhou bus station. That trip takes about 3 hours in total.

If the bus from Gongbei can do it in 2 hours, it will be a bonus and right from Gongbei rather than Xiang Zhou.
