6 – Who? Whom? Whose? – …ai?

There are 2 ways to ask Who is/are…?

Question:
subject + là + ai?
ai + là + subject?
Answer:
subject + là + object
ai + là + object

Cô ấy là ai? Cô ấy là họa sĩ
She is who? She is (a) painter

Ai là em gái bạn? Trang là em gái tôi
Who is your younger sister? Trang is my younger sister


You can also use ai to ask Who does something?:

Question: Ai + verb + object?

or Có + ai + verb + object + không?

Answer: (Có) Subject (+ verb + object — optional)

Có ai biết tiếng Việt không? Có tôi / Có anh Hà biết tiếng Việt
Who knows Vietnamese ? (there is) I /there is anh Hà (who) knows Vietnamese

Ai ở đây? Nhà Rockefeller
Who lives here? The Rockefeller family

Ai can also be used as Whom?Question: Subject + verb + ai?Short answer: that person — Long answer: subject + verb + that person

Bạn quen ai? Adele
You know/are friends with whom? Adele
Chị hỏi ai? Tôi hỏi Hải
You ask (for) whom? I ask (for) Hải

Use … của ai? to ask Whose?Question: subject + là + của ai? Answer: subject + là + của + owner

Con mèo là của ai? Con mèo là của Herminone
The cat is whose? The cat is Hermione’s
Cái áo là của ai? Cái áo là của Harry
The shirt is whose? The shirt is Harry’s

I also got correct him but he dun wan to learn from us He only wan to learn from Long-hair dictionary

Last time, I use "dau dau" instead of "nhuc dau".

I think i use "dau dau" wrongly, but checking my "tieng viet to malay" dictionary, i discovered that "nhuc dau" means "headache", "dau dau" means "head is painful".

Maybe "nhuc dau" means headaches inside the head, but "dau dau" means pain on the head when something hits the head externally.

Do let me know if i am mistaken.

For me, I think overall they meant the same if u say headache (nhức/đau). If your gf hit your head then u can say she make your HEAD đau

But why moi ve nha?

Trua chua means what? Cannot find in Google translate
